Both Jude and Johnny noticed Lucy and Brody at the same time; the teo moving to take seats, Jude a little uneasy as he knew that Brody and Lucy weren't exactly fond of him. Johnny cleared his throat, settling himself more or less in front of his twin. "Is it okay with you guys if Jude sits in this meeting? He'd have gone home with Ophi but she has to go to Sarah's place and Adrian is at work..."
Jude frowned. "you make it sound as if I'm not allowed home by myself, Johnny."He hated how his siblings treated him like he was made of glass.

"Awkward," Lucy said under her breath. "Yeah, as long as he's not interrupting the creative flow, whatever," Lucy said, eyeing Brody, who could be on the verge of an outburst. Her friend looks fairly calm, which was a good thing. The light-haired girl was probably biting her tongue and grinding her teeth however. "Uh... so.. are you in charge this year, then?" Lucy asked, raising an eyebrow.

Only because the conversation in the parking lot last week was still fresh in her mind, did Brody keep from completely snapping. She saw Lucy eyeing her, and gave her a little frown, before turning back to the Wainwright twins. Her teeth were definitely grinding, and a string of swears bubbling just behind her lips.
"Yeah, whatever. Like Luce said, he just better not mess up the creative flow, we have work to do," she agreed. She heard her friend ask Johnny if he was president, and she smiled just a bit, knowing that if he was, he'd be probably getting a bit of bitching from the brunette. Even if he was the third person to show up, he was still late.

Johnny ran a hand through his hair, frowning slightly. "I don't know, they told me I was suppose to run the meeting today though? Run the vote for what we should preform, yada so on. I would have been earlier but..." he trailed off, looking at Jude, realizing how much it would probably effect his twin if he outright said 'but Jude prevented that.'
Jude bit his lip, knowing why his brother was late. "But he ran into me. I'm sorry he's late, guys. It's my fault, not his." He looked at the ground, chewing on his lip in worry. "Don't be mad at Johnny.

"Don't worry about it," Lucy said, only half-meaning it. She couldn't freak out if the kid had a legit excuse. "I guess... that means... you're it," she said, cringing slightly. "No one else is here yet, anyway," she added. "I don't think this meeting was very well-advertised, and last year there were liiiiiiiiike... 5 people total at the preliminary meeting. So this might be all of us, anyway."

"If we're it, I'm pretty much going to flip," Brody sighed, pulling her knees up onto the stage with them, and wrapping her arms around them. She leaned her chin onto her knees, as she spoke. "Three people cannot make a club.. but then again, a lot of people ditch out on meetings. We must be the only dedicated people in the entire school."
She was pointedly ignoring Jude's presence, focusing only on Johnny, and Lucy, really.

Johnny sighed. "Yeah, I know. To be honest I had hoped that everyone else would be here already, so that I could just start..." He knew that the Drama club wasn't the most popular of clubs, but there had at least been five people last year.
Jude stared at the wall clock, making a face. "It's a shame if the drama club doesn't get off the ground..." he tossed in, knowing how much Johnny loved drama club.

((Rearranged entire bedroom, still found no signal, bitterly fell asleep. SORRY!))
Lucy's eyes widened in a nerdly panic. "It's going to get off the ground," she said, sounding worried. "It has to. Every other club I'm in sucks. I even got work to change my schedule for this." She nervously started picking apart the sleeves of her sweater. "There's more of us... there's that redhead, Jackson's sister. She'll show, she likes this shit too. That's 4 people. And there's definitely people we can recruit. Brody and I can be very... persuasive," she said, laughing a little and raising an eyebrow at her friend. "PLUS, word on the street is, we're going to be doing a MUSICAL this year," she said, turning to Johnny. "Well Mr. President, what have you heard on this?"

Johnny smiled. "Well, we are. It's actually a good thing that Jude and Brody are here; During wants us to have actual musical talent in it, apparently. He cornered us in the hall. Apparently there's going to be a huge benefit, too, and we're suppose to figure out something for that too. A play or something. Do we have any suggestions? I know a lot of people will want to do Rent for the musical, but it'll be hard to convince the school board that it's school appropriate. I think During suggested Wes Side Story or Grease, but really if we can do those two, I don't see why Rent would be such a big deal..."

"I don't care if I have to get a rope, and tie up freshmen, and put them into my car, and drag them to this auditorium, we will have a drama club this year. I swear to fuck," Brody hissed, tightening her grip around her knees. She listened to Lucy and Johnny discussing the matter, and only frowned deeper, leaning her forehead onto her bent knees. "Okay, yeah. I figured RENT wasn't going to be school appropriate. But West Side Story sucks, and Grease is so sell-out that it isn't even fit. I think if we have to choose, we do Rocky Horror.. which also falls into the not appropriate section, so maybe we should talk to During--"
And she paused, Johnny's words just sinking in. "Wait, wait, WAIT. During wants HIM to be in the musical too!?"
She pointed an accusatory finger in Jude's general direction. "But I'm always the lead in musicals! I sing!"

Uh oh. Meltdown? "Uh, Brode? If there's a female lead, Jude here's out of the question. And we were talking about RENT and Rocky Horror, both of them have males and females. You can't sing, can you, Johnny?" she asked, "So it would be necessary to have someone else. You know that. I can gender-bend all I want, I still can't sing."

Jude held up his hands. "Dude, it's not like I wanted to be pulled into this. I'm being made to. Johnny can't sing, no matter how fabu he is at acting."

Brody seemed to accept this fact, though quite grudgingly. Unfortunately for her, they were both completely right. The thought of playing the Mimi to Jude Wainwright's Roger made her shudder a little. "Yeah, okay, I get it. But we're a high school drama group, do you really think we're meant to be perfect? Outside of Luce, who is about as good of an actress as anyone is going to get in Parkdale. Going places, this girl is. On her way to Hollywood."

Jude shrugged. "Take it up with him I guess. Johnny would have me as far as humanly possible from anything to do with acting, I think."
Johnny winced slightly. "That's not...strictly true. You just tend to forget lines when you're stressed."

Brody, who was particularly famous for forgetting lines as well, kept her mouth shut. Unless she was singing her lines, they tended just to fly from her mind, something Lucy frequently teased her about. Sighing, she leaned back onto her palms. "Whatever. Can we just get started already? Make some definite decisions?"
