Ophelia was pumped. No, she was beyond pumped; it was halloween, and the studio was pimped out in All Hallows Eves decor. Tatum and her siblings had helped decorate, and she was pretty excited to have a metric shit-fuck of people dressed up in costume roaming her home. They had candy and punch and, of course, booze; and as she strung up the lights, she wondered if it was a good or bad thing that Random Comment was only going to do a three song show. She was already in her 'sexy dorothy' costume; tugging at the skirt some as she moved to put up the last of the lights, she grinned at the thought of Tatum seeing her in something so..skimpy.
Johnny sighed, placing the last bowl of chips on the table. He could be inside, where it was nice and calm and quiet. He could be out with Nathanial and Gabriel, who had planned on watching horror movies all night. Instead, he was dressed like ' The parasitic twin' and making snacks.
Jude was setting up the sound system, fussing with the skirt of his outfit. He knew he shouldn't have made a bet with Samson; Samson always chose the worst possible outfits ever. He had expected 'Robin Hood' to mean, like, ACTUALLY Robin Hood. Not some....skankish girl version. With breasts. Oh, the breasts.

Considering how excited she had been for Halloween, Tatum had been more or less ready to go from the minute she had woken up in the morning. Hell, had she not decorated her own house completely at the beginning of the month? Halloween was, frankly, a big deal in her eyes. Costumes, candy, drinking, pranks, so on, and so on. She had been anxious the entire day through out school, exchanging excited glances with Ophelia both in classes as well as in between them, and by the time that the bell rang for last period, it had been a mad rush to get out of school, and head for the Wainwright house. It had helped that there were six of them, considering everything that they had needed to do, in addition to getting into their costumes. Tatum was quite proud of her costume, as well as Rath's; she had sewn a majority of them, and spent a large amount of time digging around in thrift shops for the rest. Constructing the red vest she was wearing, as well as the green STARS vest Rath was wearing, had taken her almost the entire month of October to actually create. And it had been worth it in the end.
Maybe they were a bit red haired, and a bit pasty, to be playing the Redfields. But Tatum had been in no mood to spend the time dying both of their hair colors to brown. As things were, they had managed anyway, and Tatum didn't think they looked half bad at all, for a couple of mostly homemade costumes.
For the majority of the afternoon, she and Sera had been helping Ophelia with the decorating, and it was just nearing dark now, time for the party to really get started at long last. In her haste of working, she'd even been munching on a bit of candy, much to Ophelia's delight. She was currently spotting the other girl, as she climbed up to put up the last of the lights for the studio, mostly just trying to keep herself from making a total tool of herself by looking up the skirt on the acclaimed 'sexy Dorothy' costume. There had been quips about the sacred state of Judy Garland, and raped childhoods, but in the end, Tatum had to admit that it did look most delightful on Ophi. Maybe she'd be suggesting skimpy outfits more often, at this rate.
Playing the gopher for most of the day had been Rath's call of duty. While the girls decorated, and Johnny made snacks, and Jude fussed with his band's equipment, it had been Rath's job to go and grab the last minute things that they had been missing for the party. For all of their careful preparation, there were always forgotten items, and he had been given a list, sent to his car, and sent to the department store. In costume, of course; Ophelia had insisted that he dressed up before he was allowed to even think about going out into public.
As usual, he would have much preferred to be playing a game, or maybe even at home watching cheesy horror movies [which were so abundant on this glorious holiday], but he had accepted his task with a smile, and gone off without argument. Several store runs later, he had brought back everything they needed, including essentials like grenadine, bags of ice, more chips, more soda, more candy [as if they needed anymore really], plastic cups, a new mop, and napkins. Just to name a few of things he found himself stumbling into the studio with, arms loaded up with plastic shopping bags.
Once he had been freed of his duties as shopping boy, he had taken a few minutes of rest, before moving over to where Jude was still working on the sound system. Random Comment was only playing a three song set, or so he'd been told, but he supposed he saw the need for a working sound system. People were going to want music to dance to [Leigh immediately came to mind], whether it was live or not. And they would especially want it once the liquor began to flow. "You need a hand with anything, dude?"
"You guys enjoy that, then," Seraphim said in Tatum and Ophelia's direction, as she vaguely watched the two finishing with the lights. It had taken them a while, but they were pretty much done now, and soon people were be arriving, and messing up all of their hard work. How excellent, had to love a party. At least they had brought those three bottles of wine from the bottom of the fridge. She could live with that. She sat down onto one of the many sets in the Wainwright studio, fishing her cellphone out of the front of her top. It was far from classy, but it was the only place to keep the damn thing, given her choice of costume. It had looked a lot longer, and a lot less clinging-to-every-curve when she bought the damn thing. Now that she was actually wearing it, she felt a bit awkward.
She hated the holiday a little, since in addition to all of the un-needed candy, and the juvenile diabetes, it truly was nothing short of the most skanky day in existence. Any excuse for girls to take off their clothes, and call it a costume. She had been hoping her costume might dispel that a little, but given the length of the skirt, she wasn't giving off much more of a positive statement. Oh well, at least Leigh would like it, she supposed. Speaking of her, she ought to be showing up by now. When they had separated at school, she said she was going to be there as soon as she finished with taking Stevie out. How she had convinced their boss to close the cafe for Halloween, Sera didn't know. Leigh was a smooth talker, that probably had some influence. She quickly dialed the other girl's number, sending her a text message, quite simple;
'It is officially happy juvenile diabeetus day over here. You coming soon? I'm pretty much bored retarded, and Tatum is staring up Ophi's skirt.'
Any chance to party was an excellent chance, in Hunter's opinion. She was stone cold sober, had been for two days, and it was getting old. A party was sounding so good, and if it was going to involve free liquor, and someone else cleaning up all of the mess, then it only meant that it was the best sort of party. All of that free food didn't sound bad either, even if it was mostly going to be junk food. There was going to be pizza apparently, and Hunter was totally down with pizza. Beer and pizza were, in her opinion, born to be together. And she had already gotten her last twenty-four case of beer out of the fridge, and was just about ready to head over to the Wainwright's. Just a few finishing touches on her costume, really. Sarah had to be there soon anyway, since Random Comment were performing a few songs. Samson and Jude had been lugging gear earlier, and she was pretty sure they had been cursing her name, for not being able to drag it over in the van. Just a few weeks until her license was un-suspended, at least!
Adjusting her small tie slightly, Hunter inclined her head slowly in Sarah's direction, before turning completely, and motioning with both hands toward her costume. "Am I cute, or am I cute?" she asked, rather rhetorically, as she grinned over at the other girl in the room. She was quite fond of Sarah's choice is costume, but much preferred her own. She had never actually read Harry Potter, but the movies were good, and the costume was too amusing to resist. Even the woman at the costume store had said that it suited her. Whether Sarah agreed or not, Hunter was just glad they were talking again.
"Remind me why I'm doing this again?" Brody muttered, not to anyone in particular. It was hard to be particular, when she was the only one in the car, other than Hal. Who was in his case, and placed lovingly into the back seat of her rusty excuse for transportation. She had offered to pick up Lucy, but apparently Lucy had been able to get her own car from her parents. Although she had questioned, much to Brody's chagrin, why they were going to Jude Wainwright's Halloween party in the first place?
Brody had insisted that, quite simply, it wasn't Jude's. It was Jude's, Johnny's, and Ophelia's. And she liked both of Jude's siblings just fine. It would be a good chance for fun, really! She liked her costume, it was awesome, and she wanted to show off a little. Well, more so than usual. For different reasons, even. She could drink, they could smoke, she could ask Ophelia to be in the musical, and Lucy could talk to Johnny more about said musical. It would be great. But now she was having second thoughts. Maybe it would be terrible, and awkward, and Random Comment were bound to play, and she'd just vomit up all of her liquor. But what else was there for the two of them to do? They were getting too old for trick or treating, even if Brody had considered stopping at a few houses on her way home from school, just for a quick sugar fix.
Pulling up in front of the Wainwright house, she realized [rather grimly], that she was one of the first few people to get there. She decided firmly that she would wait until someone else showed up, before actually going inside. Or maybe a few people. It would be easier to blend into a crowd, and much less awkward. Parking her car across the street, she turned off the engine, and leaned back against the driver's seat, sighing loudly. "Hate you, Asswright."
Alex had been, frankly, more than just a little thrilled by her sister's costume. If Maxxie hadn't dressed up, then Alex hadn't been planning on dressing up. But Maxxie had found a really cute costume, and it looked fantastic on her. Alex wasn't so sure about her own costume, but her brother and sister both said that it looked okay. She loved Kill Bill, and had been set on getting the costume, as soon as she laid eyes on it. Plus, the fake sword was fun to fool around with. Ken and Maxxie had both harassed her with it for days since they had bought it. She was no Uma Thurman, but she wasn't doing half bad. She could pull off yellow, and.. well, yellow almost matched Maxxie's costume, right? Gosh, she looked cute, and the fact hit Alex again as she gazed across the aisle of the bus toward where her sister was sitting across from her.
Ken was at her left side, and as the bus pulled to a stop, all three of them were standing, with Alex leading the way as they got up and headed for the exit. It was truly October, and Alex shivered a little as the bus pulled away, leaving them at their stop, just a few blocks away from the Wainwright house. Beginning to walk, she hooked her arm with Maxxie's, but glanced toward Ken as she spoke. "So what is everybody else dressing up as? Did Jude tell you?"
Natasha had almost not gone, considering staying home and handing out candy instead, but she had been convinced at the last minute. About ninety percent of every team she played on seemed to be going to this party, and it didn't sound half bad. She wouldn't drink, nor smoke, as usual, but she could make sure that none of her girls got run over by.. buses, or something, at least. The ever vigilant big sister figure, looking out for her team. She had heard Leigh and Sera talking about it, and it was only then that it occurred to her that it was actually Ophelia's party. Well, if it was being thrown by the Wainwrights, then she wouldn't ditch out completely. They were a pretty good crowd, as far as people at PCS went.
She had no costume, and had done the best she could on just a few hours notice; a hooded sweater that she had actually bought at a concert not long ago. Just an all black number, with a human skeleton depicted on the front and back of it. It would be warm, at least, in the cool weather. If she ended up outside holding someone's hair, as she often did at big parties. She didn't live too far away from the Wainwrights, and within a twenty minute jog, she had arrived. It looked pretty dead so far, with just some faint voices from inside, and what looked like Brody's rusty old car parked in front of it. She squinted a bit, wondering just what Brody would even be doing there; didn't she hate Jude Wainwright?
Well, no matter. It was chilly, and even if she wasn't drinking liquor, she could really use a glass of water or something after her run. Walking up to the front of the garage, she made her way inside, waving briefly at the six gathered inside. "Hey guys, this place looks awesome. Did you do all this yourselves?"

Meghan took a deep breath, smoothed down her red plaid skirt and put a large grin on her face before knocking on the door to the Wainwrights house. She didn't know any of the Wainwrights personally, but they were friends of Seraphim's and Seraphim had claimed that any friends of hers could be friends of Meghan's so she'd agreed to tag along to the party.
She looked down at her costume (Judy Nails from the Guitar Hero games) and smiled a little. Her older brother had been rather annoyed when she had walked down the stairs in the short skirt (accompanied by a white leather belt) and black skull patterned tank top, but she hadn't cared all that much because it wasn't like her brother was even going to be at the party anyway.
She looked up when she heard the door open, a soft smile on her face. "Seraphim said there was a party here tonight. ...I did get the right address, didn't I?"

Leigh had been sitting in front of her mother, the older woman carefully weaving her long hair up intricately with the plant thing that went in her hair (she was sure it had a proper name, but she had no idea what it was. Sera probably would), when her phone beeped. Grabbing it off the table, she read the message and grinned.
"Sorry, ma'am, I just got Spiderman home," she quickly texted back, "And since I was not going to get frozen to death, I had to come home and get be-costumed. I'll be there in ten, tops."
Just as she finished, so did Bella, dropping a kiss on her forehead. "Are you sure that skirt isn't too short, dear?"
"Maybe," Leigh replied, "If I was going out. But I'm not. I'm just going over to the Wainwrights. I'll be snug as a bug in a rug, and if anyone tries to bestow any harm upon me, Sera will make them die a thousand deaths before she begins the torture. Also I shall kick them. Hard. In the shins."
Adrian adjusted his hat, looking for Jude. He had heard something about a bet, Samson, and utter evil, and was looking forward to finding him. Half terrified, and half already on the edge of hysterics. Samson might have been a bit touchy-feely with Jude for his personal tastes, but the guy was also fucking hilarious sometimes. It was bound to be entertaining either way.
It wasn't over-difficult to find him, really, but when he did, he couldn't help but stare. One thumb caught underneath his suspenders, head cocked to the side, like a dog hearing a strange noise, he stared. "Uh, Jude?" He finally managed, unsure whether or not bursting into laughter was strictly appropriate at the moment.
Harley adjusted her boots as she stepped outside, waving a prompt goodbye to her father. Johnny had mentioned the party in passing, and not wanting to have to stay inside her house alone, she asked if anyone would mind her dropping by, he had said no one would, and offered directions.
Which led her outside what was obviously a party, walking up even as a blonde girl who had to be absolutely freezing wearing a rather revealing little toga-type dress, gold chords wrapped around her middle, her hair up, she was wearing a long knee-length white coat, but the front was open as she was hurrying alone. One thing that Harley's costume afforded her, the dark-haired girl contemplated, while perhaps not modesty (as tight as that costume was -- understandable), was warmth. She was quite cozy. "Um...this the Wainwright place?"
Leigh looked at Harley Quinn, except for the hat, and the red-and-black hair quite made up for that, with a grin. "You bet, Harley. Let's go, before I turn into a Popsicle. Sera and I already discussed that one. It didn't end well," she added, stepping easily inside the house without knocking, holding the door open for the stranger.
"Thanks," Harley answered, extending a hand. "Um, that's my name by the way, Harley."
"Nice to meet you," Leigh replied, shaking the outstretched hand, and then removing her jacket and throwing it into the coat-closet without bothering to hang it. She'd just grab it later. "I'm Leigh O'Conner, you must be new, I don't know you, welcome to Parkdale. As for right now, I need to go find my girlfriend. I'll see you 'round!"
Without waiting for an answer, she turned on her high heel and immediately sought out Sera. When she finally did find Supergirl, she was standing idly, looking away (towards some commotion or another, Leigh wasn't sure). She was too busy wrapping her arms around the the girl and dropping her chin on Sera's shoulder. She kissed the brunette's ear. "Sexy supergirl?" She teased, "color me stunned! You hate kids-diabetes-day."

Since he had been doing more or less nothing at the time of the knock, Rath pulled himself away from watching Jude, and headed in that direction. As things were, Adrian was arriving, and looking pretty amused at the sight of Robina Hood, so he figured Jude would have plenty to keep him busy. He passed by Leigh on the way, and a girl he didn't know, slipping comfortably up to the door and pulling it open.
He saw the girl on the other side, and although he didn't think he knew her, he felt like he knew her. He'd recognize that costume anywhere. She spoke to him, something about his sister, and the party, but it went right over his head. He was far too impressed. "Judy Nails!" he exclaimed, immediately flashing two identical thumbs up. "That is fucking awesome, dude!"
Seraphim almost jumped at the contact, not expecting it, but immediately leaning back into it once she realized who it was. With those lips against her ear, it was hard not to know right away, even without turning her head. "You like it? I picked it out at the last minute, it.. uh, well, it looked longer on the costume package. I didn't think it was this slutty," she muttered softly, sighing.
"And you're welcome to be stunned, because I do hate this holiday. Candy, and skanks, and immaturity, and my brother and sister will drink themselves silly, and this is going to be awful. I hate today, I wish I could really fly because I'd bail, and I wish I stayed in bed. But at least you think I'm sexy, I guess."

Meghan flushed a soft pink when she was greeted by a rather...eccentric looking redhead. "Thanks?" She smiled sweetly and flicked the bangs of her bright red wig out of her face before looking up at him. "So I did get the right address then?"
She laughed a little and then walked past the threshold of the door and into the house. Well, they'd definitely done a good job on the decorating. It looks way better than the piddly little decorations that Torin had put up in their apartment. The spoil-sport hadn't even let her carve any pumpkins.

"Aww, boo for grumpiness," Leigh said. "And you don't look slutty. Hunter, and possibly Ophelia, look and/or looks slutty. You look gorgeous, I promise. And we don't have to stay long if you don't want. Given that both of your siblings are here, we can always just head to your place, if you'd rather. But lemme show off for a bit. These heels were way too much hassle, otherwise. And I will be dancing, either with people here or with you at your house. And I will pout at you until you give in." She moved in front of Sera and spun. "I'm a goddess! What do you think?!"

"Address? Oh, wait, yeah!" he said quickly, shutting the door behind her as she came inside. "This is it, the party is just in the garage, it's just through that door there.. well, actually, it was the garage. We're calling it a studio now. Apparently," Rath explained, with a little shrug of his shoulders, as he walked ahead and motioned toward the door in question. He shifted somewhat, and adjusted the toy gun that hung from his belt. "It's so cool to see somebody else dressed as a video game character.. I mean, other than me and my sister."
Her words at the door suddenly hit him, and he raised one hand into the air as he spoke. "And speaking of sisters, you mentioned one of mine, no? Sera invited you?"

"You know how I feel about this holiday, did you expect non-grumpy? I mean, the decorating is kinda fun, and the costumes are fun, but think of the health! Think of the children, Leigh, the children," Sera said, pouting. "Thank you though, for the compliment. I'm glad you like it, I had you in mind when I chose it. I didn't know what you were being, I never asked, so.. I guess we don't exactly match, but we're cute together. And yes, you can show off, we'll stay a few hours, steal Rath's keys, and walk back home. You can stay over tonight, mom and dad won't care, and you can just call yours," she added, smiling at the blonde, as she stepped in front of her and gave a little spin. Seraphim almost gave a little groan of joy, just crossing her arms and leaning back onto the wall behind her instead.
"What do I think? What I think is not publicly appropriate. I'd go straight to hell for doing that to a goddess. Fair?"

Ophelia joined Tatum and wrapped an arm around her, finished with the decorations and content to just stand about talking for a moment.
Maxxie grinned across the bus at Alex, smoothing out the skirt to her spoungebob costume and giving her sister a wave. " No, no one mentioned what they were going as. I heard something about a bet for Jude, that's it."
Kenneth grinned at his sisters words, shaking his head some. "They always have pretty wild costumes, man. Anyways, I don't want you guys drinking, got it?"Maxxie rolled her eyes, and he frowned. "I mean it."
As everyone began to arrive, Johnny sat down on one of the ratty old couches that they'd pulled into the garage, a cup of punch in hand as his eyes followed his brothers every move. He wasn't sure how he felt on his twin wearing a skirt; not that Jude didn't look good; he had a feminine enough figure to pull the costume of fabulously, and his hair was long enough to pigtail under the hat, and really he just looked....fantastic. Samson sure knew how to pick costumes. He just wasn't sure how he felt about Adrian oogling his brother the way he was, and he was pretty sure Brody Rogers was to show up, and that could only end in disaster.
Samson plugged in the last amp, standing up and stretching some before turning to look at Adrian as the boy called out Jude's name. He grinned, stepping over to flick up the back of Jude's skirt, and winked at Adrian. "Looking sharp, newsie. So what do you think, well worth him losing the bet?"
Sarah was picking at a thread on her skirt when Hunter spoke, and she looked up, raising an eyebrow at the other girls costume. "It's cute. Sexy. Don't think I'm going to just drop my angry 'no sex for another week' rule just becasue you wore a short skirt though. I'm still mad at you." She waited a moment, then grinned, leaning down to place a kiss on the other girls exposed chest.
Jude stood up, swatting at Samson's hand while turning to grin at Adrian. "Hey, Aid. Uh. I like your costume. It's cute." He gave a sheepish grin, hand moving to smooth his skirt down over his thighs. He really didn't mind the costume he was wearing as much as he had thought he might, Halloween was for dressing up as something you weren't, right?Lot's of guys went as girls. "I'm glad your here, Samson won't stop trying to cop a feel up my skirt."

"The studio, huh? Why would you be calling it that?" Meghan tilted her head to the side and observed Rath through the bangs of her wig. She smiled when Rath mentioned that it was cool to see someone else dressed as a video game character. "I've always been into video games, so it made sense to dress up as one."
"Yeah, Seraphim invited me. I know her from class and she said there was going to be a party and said I should tag along." She smiled a little more now as Rath lead her through the house and into 'the studio', "I just didn't know I'd meet such a cool guy within my first few minutes here."

"The children will be fine, Sera!" Leigh answered. "I mean, it's the only time of year my mom ever let me have candy for no reason. And I think that she's is one of those crazy women who tie a toothbrush to a piece of candy, and she hands them both out." The blonde shook her head regretfully, "That woman is insane."
Leigh grinned at the compliment. "Not if I'm Aphrodite," she answered matter-of-factly, "I'm pretty sure you'd go to Hades for not doing naughty things to me.
"Actually, Mom seemed pretty sure that everyone who saw me would want to do naughty things to me, and would try, with our without my consent. I told her that you'd protect me. The irony of you being Supergirl just hit me though, so I need to giggle hysterically in a few minutes, if that's okay."

"Well, I was gonna give you a raise," Adrian said towards Samson, grinning a little. Little by little he was getting used to the huge blonde, which frankly surprised him, "but that was before you were trying to feel up my boyfriend. Stop that!
"I'm not sure the compliment works, Jude," Adrian admitted teasingly, stepping forward to slide one arm around Jude's slim waist and drop a kiss on the corner of his mouth. "Because while you look admittedly gorgeous in your skirt, I'm not sure if 'pretty' is allowed."
Harley walked through the house, identifying the source of many costumes, but very few people who were wearing said costumes. She noticed Johnny eventually, and considered going to say hi, but he was rather busy boring holes into...she had to double-take once she saw the slender robin-hood standing next to a newsie (and Hannibal Lecter?). At first she had assumed that it was a girl -- it was Jude.
She gingerly walked towards Johnny. "He kind of makes a surprisingly pretty girl," she noted in lieu of greeting.

Tatum smiled widely, leaning into the arm that Ophelia wrapped around her, placing a light kiss onto the other girl's cheek. "I think we did a really good job, everybody seems pretty impressed with it. We can officially rejoice, and start drinking?" she suggested quietly, as she glanced over toward the table where the liquor was situated. Surprisingly, it hadn't been touched yet, since there weren't a ton of people arriving at the moment. There was probably only about twenty people gathered into the studio for the moment.
She noticed Rath standing in the doorway, talking to a girl that she didn't one hundred percent recognize. She was pretty sure she'd seen Seraphim talking to her before, but other than that, she seemed unfamiliar. "Look, Rath is talking to a real girl, check that out," she whispered, giving Ophelia a gentle nudge.
"What kind of bet?" Alex murmured, blinking a bit. "I have a feeling that a bet probably didn't end well," she added soon after. She tightened her grip slightly on Maxxie, as they stopped at a set of lights, waiting to cross the street. When Ken spoke, Alex glanced toward him, and then up to Maxxie, and then back over to Ken again. This was a frequent bicker between them, even if it never got intense. Ken treated them both like little girls sometimes, and Maxxie had a bad habit of thinking of them as a lot older than they were. Truthfully, Ken was right; they were only fifteen and sixteen years old. And Maxxie wouldn't even be sixteen until November, technically. Either way, Alex tried to stay as neutral as possible in the liquor debate. "I won't," she finally said, lowering her eyes a bit, as they began to cross the street. "I mean, I won't try to. They did spike the punch last year."
That had been an interesting party, even if she had felt terrible the next day. This year would live up to it, she was sure.
"Oh, come on," Hunter half-whined, giving Sarah a rather firm pout. She'd been struggling hard to deal with the 'no sex for another week' rule, and it was driving her crazy. More than being sober was driving her crazy. "I already apologized, and the party isn't even at our house this time, and like.. c'mon, I'll behave myself and everything. Plus, sexy! Cute and sexy! Look at these," the blonde added, motioning to the Harry Potter style glasses she had donned to go with her costume. She had been about to argue further, but stopped when Sarah leaned down and placed the kiss onto her chest, making her shiver a bit. "H-Hey, you're edging way close to breaking your own rule, madam.. that feels nice."
"Because it's not a real garage anymore, no cars," Rath explained, shrugging his shoulders. "Their dad gave them the garage to use as like.. their artist studio. Ophelia and Jude have their music stuff in the bottom, and Johnny has the loft for rehearsals and acting stuff, basically. I just wish my dad would give us the garage, but fat chance. I could totally pimp that place out," he continued, with a wide grin crossing his features at the thought of creating his own garage-oriented domain. He seemed thrilled at the mention of video games, and as they were inside of the studio with everyone else, he moved so they stood toward one of the walls, and he extended his hand out for her to shake. "Rath, by the way. And girl gamers are awesome, what's your favorite? Lemme guess, Guitar Hero? Rock Band, maybe? Did you play World Tour yet? I bought it as soon as it came out a couple of days ago, I'm loving it."
When he realized that she had called him cool, he almost felt himself blushing a little, as he gave a little chuckle; his free hand rubbing over the back of his neck. "I'm not cool. Trust me, I'm not cool, none of my friends would agree with you. They're always ripping on me for being a giant nerd. You've basically met the resident geek, so congratulations on that. I can fix your computer for you, but I can't dance. Unless it's DDR. That's what Sera says, anyway."
"See, your mother gets my strife with this holiday," Sera replied moodily. "Our house, for the record, won't even have the candy tied to the toothbrush. It will just be a toothbrush, and a small bottle of insulin, for when they finish the night of binging. And purging, I guess, if they're my sister. But in short, your mom has the right idea. And that is why I love her, she's very wise," she explained, with a rather firm nod.
"And are you Aphrodite? I don't recall you making any sort of distinction. Just make sure you're not Artemis, or Astraea. No modesty or chastity tonight, miss. I don't think I'll dare to argue against Aphrodite, even if I'm not sure how I feel about the prostitute thing. You're only allowed to whore yourself out to me," the brunette mused, leaning in to place another little kiss onto the other girl's lips. "I'd even settle for Eros, but you're a bit feminine. I just think he'd be a lot more kinky."
At the mention of her costume choice, and the irony of Leigh's promise to Bella, Seraphim couldn't help but laugh a little as well, leaning her forehead against Leigh's, and closing her eyes slightly as she did. "No one is going to be doing any sort of naughty things to you except me, didn't I just tell you that? Your mom can rest easy tonight, I promise," she murmured, opening one eye to peer at the other girl. "Supergirl will protect you, as long as nobody is hiding any Kryptonite in their pants, or something evil like that. That'd just be cheap. I should have gone as a Marvel character, they're more badass. Or maybe you should have just gone at Lois Lane, I'm not sure which. Either way, I actually do like my costume, a little. And the irony that apparently comes with it."

Leigh made a bit of a face at the sheer list of gods and goddesses. "See, I don't know who half of them are, but I have no boy-parts, so no gods, and no being chaste or anything like that either. And frankly, from what I remember, weren't all of the Greek Pantheon a whole bunch of whores anyway? I swear, I can think of like...eight ladies Zeus turned into an animal and slept with, impregnated, and never called back. The bastard," she teased. "I knew you'd protect me. I told Mom. She has deigned to put faith in your powers, too."
