Jude yelped loudly as Samson attempted to shove his hands into the other teens pants. Backing up, he ran into the mic stand, nearly knocking it over as Ophelia punched Samson hard in the arm.
"Samson I swear to all that is good, if you don't piss off I'm going to be forced to physically harm you, and Sarah will not protec you." Ophelia's voice carried out, and beside her Sarah nodded.

Adrian had been looking for a break between tables and customers to make a clean getaway (nicotine was calling to him), when he had seen Jude back up and hit the mike stand from the corner of his eye. The girl on guitar finally seemed annoyed, and he caught only part of what she said -- something about ensuing physical harm presumably to the blonde, and Adrian decided that he'd go say hello to Jude. And try to figure out what was going on. He moved towards the stage now and waved a little, feeling silly, to try to catch Jude's attention.

Samson backed off slightly, and Jude sighed, turning to grab his water and spotting Adrian at the same time. He smiled, a wide, happy grin, and moved to sit on the edge of the stage, grinning at the other boy.
"Hey, you. Thought you might not show. Having fun?"he asked, reaching to lightly tug on the other boys wrist.

"Not show?" Adrian answered, pretending aghast. "With the birthday considerations?" He leaned over towards Jude and prodded his knee teasingly, still feeling warm and fuzzy from the brilliant grin and gentle touch that Jude had bestowed upon him. "Of course I came! You guys are awesome," he added, turning so that his back was against the stage where Jude sat, leaning slightly over, providing a comfortable contact. "What was the second song you played? I know Nirvana, of course, but I definitely haven't heard that one. I loved it. You have made me all music-happy tonight. Remind me to make you cookies."

Jude grinned, catching the hand that was poking him. "Had to do something for your birthday! And it was one I wrote. You like it?" he played with the cords running across the stage, a little nervous about Aid's opinion on his music.

"Of course I did," Adrian answered firmly. "I thought it was amazing, and that you were amazing, and I've got no idea how I'm going to impress you back. I can't believe I've missed out on this for so long! You're just going to have to give me a whole new education of Parkdale the next time you can, so I can figure out what else I'm missing," Adrian grinned. "And you'd better. Or else. I'll have of think of something to or-else you with," he added this in a confidential whisper, initially coming up with nothing. "Ooh, or I can bribe you with baked goods." He leaned towards Jude, very purposely letting his lips brush slightly against the dark-haired musician's ear, and whispering secretly, "I promise, they're worth it." He pulled back a little, and winked, but didn't move, feeling warm and comfortable in close contact with Jude, and hoping that his not-pulling-away on Jude's part meant that he felt the same.

Deciding that things looked a little calmer now, she figured it would be okay to go up and say a quick 'hello' to her girlfriend. Once Ophelia has bestowed a punch on Samson, and said something that Tatum didn't quite catch, and the band seemed focused on taking their lengthy break, Tatum pushed her chair back from the table, and quickly grabbed up her book, shoving it into her purse, and gently hanging it over her shoulder. Like Adrian before her, she had considered the fact that she was very liable to lose her seat once she got up from it, but found that she didn't really mind. At least since she was a bit further back, maybe she'd stand a chance of getting it back once the second set began. If not, she'd be content to stand along one of the walls and listen. She had done it before.
She was gingerly pushing her way through the crowd, just as Jude was greeting Adrian at the edge of the stage, and she moved past them, heading over to where Ophelia was standing closer to Sarah, and to her guitar. Leaning onto the edge a bit, she smiled up at the dark-haired girl, tilting her head some. "Hi there. Working hard, or hardly working?"

Jude smiled at Adrian, hand still holding onto Adrian's as he pulled him a little closer. "Sounds promising." he stated, grinning as he moved his legs to pull the other boy even closer. "And when do I get these cookies, sir?"
Tatum's voice caused Ophelia to look up, and she grinned at the other girl, moving to put her arms around Tatum's waist. "Working hard at hardly working, babe. Glad you came, you enjoying the set?"

Tatum smiled almost immediately, leaning back comfortably into Ophelia's embrace, and nodding her head a little. "I am, yeah. It's really good. But then again, I always think it's good, don't I? And the coffee is good tonight, too, I already had two," she admitted, her smile widening a little guiltily. Caffeine, it was one of her true vices, and most of her friends realized it. Her eyes moved momentarily to Jude and Adrian, but she quickly looked away, a little embarrassed, keeping her attention on Ophi instead. "I didn't hear you dedicating any songs to me though. Even if it's not my birthday."

Ophelia pouted, making sad little faces at Tatum's question on a dedication. "Aw, babe, you know they don't even give me a microphone after that time with the ode about your left nipple. But you know I only sing for you."

Tatum paled a little, a pout of her own forming on her face at the mention of that particular song. How had she forgotten about that incident? It had only been a couple of months ago. She had been fairly sure that she was embarrassed enough to just curl up and die, and the jokes about it at school that had continued for the remainder of the week hadn't improved her disposition any. "... Y-Yeah, maybe it's best that you don't sing here, actually. We'll just save that for at home. Where nobody else can hear it."

"Your parents are the mot epic breeders I've ever seen. I thought it was excessive when mom had her third. I can't imagine seven. And I'll troll for booty all I want, it's been a while," she said, sticking her tongue out. "And back to what I said before, I don't see why you come here. Night after night. When you know it's just going to piss you off. They are just a glorified cover band. So why are we here?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "However, they're an entertaining cover band, I must say. Not necessarily talented though," she added quickly, unable to stop her foot from tapping along with the music.

Ophelia cackled, pulling Tatum close by her belt loops and giving her a sound kiss. "You loved it, secretly. And I am particularly fond of that nipple, missus." Her eyes roamed over to Jude and Adrian, following Tatum's gaze, and she frowned. "I don't know about that kid he's hanging with." she confided, eyes narrowing as her brother got closer to the other teen.

"As soon as I manage to kidnap you," Adrian replied thoughtfully, after a moment's consideration. "So I figure if I come back mysteriously wearing a trench coat I can sneak you out under it. We'd have to be friendly though," he added teasingly, and willingly edged closer as Jude's movements invited him to do so.
"Granted, that option might make your band cranky at me," Adrian continued, chuckling a little, and looking at the group in question, the dark-haired girl who had been on the guitar seemed to be momentarily distracted by Tatum. "Okay, maybe I'll kidnap you after you guys are done playing," he finished decisively, "but do you think you'd have time now to slip out for a minute? Need a cig."

Jude grinned, nodding. "We have a bout...oh, ten minutes left? Lets go." He didn't smoke himself, but Samson often did, and he was use tothe smoke breaks. Taking Adrian's hand, he pulled him towards the door, giving his sister a slight wave.
