"Yeah, I guess. At least they can't actually combine their genes, they'll need to adopt or something. The kids stand a chance," Sera agreed, laughing a bit as well. "And I guess we'll be able to teach the children some intelligence, if they spend time with us.. a bit of class."
Tatum nodded, looking solemn, and just barely managing to keep a straight face. "Her, yes. We're.. well, we're quite star crossed, she and I, but I can't help how I feel, right? As soon as I looked into her off-center gaze, I knew she was the one for me."

Ophelia snorted. "Well, tell me when you marry so that I can speak at the wedding reception. I'll write an ode to your new wifes crooked gaze."
Johnny laughed. "Hopefully the class won't get pushed out of their heads either."

"You can't have an ex-girlfriend talk at the reception, and they especially cannot sing nonsensical songs at the reception, don't you know anything about weddings?" Tatum replied firmly, pouting across the table at Ophelia. "You can walk me down the aisle though, or maybe help me choose a dress."
"With those two for parents? It'll be pushed out in a heartbeat."

"Wait, wait. So I can't talk, can't sing, but I can walk you down the aisle?"
"What a shame. Are we even sure they'll be allowed to adopt?"

"Yeah, but you'll have to do it silently. Since you can't sing, or talk. It's all about appearances, keeping them up, you know," the redhead replied, smirking across the table, before reaching over to offer her hand. "Unless you want to propose to me first. Then, you can sing."
Seraphim glanced at them for a moment, and then back to Johnny. "Well, not if Child Services are sane. But I doubt they are. Unfortunately, Tatum has these small bouts of sanity, so I bet they'll believe that she's a normal, caring individual."

Opehlia grinned. "Can I do it in the middle of english?"
'We'll have to convince them otherwise."

Tatum grinned back. "Well, I guess it couldn't hurt.. you've done worse."
"Clearly."

Ophelia smirked. "Oh I have not. Not yet."

That wiped the smile off of Tatum's face, replaced quickly with a frown. "Wait, what? What are you planning exactly?!"

Ophi gave her an innocent look. "Didn't say I was planning anything, did I?"

Under the table, Tatum kicked her again. "You didn't have to say it, I can tell by looking at you, trust me."

Rubbing her shin, Ophelia made a face. "ouch. Well how do you know it's a bad something?"

"You're bad. It's always a bad something," Tatum replied softly, giving a mock pout at the dark-haired girl on the other side of the table. "Spill already, will you?"

"Maybe there really IS nothing, and this is all a clever ploy to make you paranoid. Is it working?"
