"Okay," Leigh subsided, for the moment. "And it seems as though it is. Victory is ours! And then when they're gone, we'll have Sera and your sister to chat with until the end of the night." Brody began playing again, and there were only a few dwindling people left, and most of them had the "coffee" orders, which were the easiest.

Once the crowd had died down significantly, and Brody was back up on stage, Seraphim pushed her chair back, and motioned for Marianne to follow her back over to the counter. As the last customer was adding his customizations to his coffee on the side, the brunette leaned comfortably onto the counter once more, in her previous position.
"I was just telling Marianne that she has to hang out with us, because we're the coolest girls in the tenth grade," she explained, glancing at the redhead with a smile.

"Indeed we are," Leigh agreed firmly. "And indeed you should," she added towards Marianne. She glanced towards Jackson. "You should also hang out with us, even if you are older and supposedly 'cooler' for that. Our coolness is not confined to just our grade. That's where it just so happens to shine the most."
She leaned over the counter to peer at Sera's cup. "How goes your Monstrosity? And do you need something to drink, Marianne? On the house, of course, being that we now own your brother."

"I could use a filling up, missus, if you have the time," Seraphim replied, peering down at her own cup as well. "Only if you're feeling up to it. And if you're not cutting me off for the evening. Since this.. is my third one. At least when it's time to close up, I'll have so much energy, I can do all of your heavy lifting. I bet I'll be able to flip all of these chairs over, in about sixty seconds. I can almost promise it. I'm totally wired."

"For you, darling, always," Leigh answered, and promptly set about making another Monstrosity. "I know you are," she added, not looking towards Sera. "It was my master plan, so I could get some help! I wasn't aware, previously, that I'd get Jackson here for physical labor."

"Oh, nice to see where I really stand, then," Sera replied sharply, trying her best to put on a scowl, and look hurt by the realization of Leigh's ulterior motives. "And here I thought you just enjoyed taking five minutes out of your day to make my perfect coffee.. sans raspberry, please. I see you eyeing it, miss."

"Ma'am, this is...what...the fourth Monstrosity I've made today? I love you, you know that. I hate your coffee. It has starred in nightmares. And the only reason that I tolerate it's existence on any plane is that it's attached to you, so no matter what I say, I don't really hate it." The blonde hopped over the counter and dropped a kiss at the corner of Sera's mouth. "I just hate making it," she added cheekily.

"Fourth, yes," Sera assured her, the mock pout sliding easily into a grin, which only widened as the kiss was placed against the corner of her mouth. "And I've enjoyed every one of them, so it isn't as if I'm ungrateful. Even if I may give you night terrors, and even if it takes a long time to make. I order it from my heart, and as such, you have every right to not hate. It's actually quite good, if you'd taste it for once."

"I'll hang out with you guys, for sure. Aside from clubs, I have no other committments. Well, unless I get that job. But yeah, I'm always free for a good hang out," she said happily, nodding. "And my brother working here yields me free coffee? Glad he's finally good for something."
Jackson had to laugh, "Well, I will be eighteen this month. Maybe I am a little too cool for you guys," he joked. "No.. No I take that back... I'm really not. I'm down for the hangouts any time I'm free as well."

"You'll get the job, I'm sure of it," Sera assured her, with a rather winning smile. "And besides, if you didn't, I'd make sure my sister paid for her treason. I have my ways. Most of them involve her camera, and a jar of peanut-butter, but oh, I have my way," the brunette explained, glancing back toward Leigh as she worked on the next Monstrosity.
"And no one is too cool for us, Jackson. We're the god tier of coolness, so it'd be impossible to surpass us, you see."

"Yes," Leigh grinned at Jackson. "We'll schedule hangouts."
Arching an eyebrow towards Sera, she made a bit of a face. "I couldn't drink one. It would either gross me out entirely and I would never, ever understand you again, or I would adore it and have to make it twice as often. I'm perfectly happy hating it in ignorance and going on from there, sir, really."
