About Your Character||
Name: Tatum Riley Donnelly. Age: Eighteen. Gender: Female. Sexuality: Homosexual. Nationality: Irish-American. Birthday: March 15th, 1990.
Family: Rath Donnelly [twin brother], Seraphim Donnelly-Rousseau [younger sister], Mick Donnelly [father], Claire Donnelly [mother; deceased], Marilyn Donnelly-Rousseau [step-mother]. Pet(s): An orange male tabby cat, named Teagan. Occupation: Works part time at a video store in downtown Parkdale. Residence: Lives with her parents and siblings in a middle class home, not far from Parkdale Community School.
Grade: Twelve [Senior]. Best Subject: Biology & Life Sciences. Worst Subject: Physical Education & Mathematics. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Photography club, music appreciation club, student body newspaper, GLBT Alliance, yoga club.
Appearance: Tatum's hair reaches just past her shoulders. It is a deep rust color, a natural redhead, and with the slightly hint of a wave or a curl. Nothing incredibly prominent, unless she puts it there herself. Which she rarely does. Mostly, it hangs about her face and shoulders, gently framing her face and occasionally hanging into her eyes. Brushing it out and leaving it as is, is usually what equates to styling for Tatum. She sometimes pulls it back into ponytails or something if she's studying or reading, but other than that, she rarely does much of anything with it.
Her skin is incredibly pale, and burns easily, but matches well with her red hair, and comes hand in hand from her Irish heritage. She is the type of girl that just doesn't tan, and is usually devoid of color even in the most hottest of summer months. She has a smattering of freckles over the bridge of her nose and her cheeks, as well as on some other parts of her body, including her shoulders and arms. She doesn't care much for excessive amounts make-up, outside of perhaps a little bit of eye liner and lip gloss, unless she is dressing up to go somewhere very special. Au natural would best describe her.
Her eyes are a dark brown color, with long dark lashes, and stand out well against her freckles and skin. They're usually accented with just a hint of eye make-up, but nothing to an extreme. She has a somewhat narrow face, with thin lips and a rather pointed nose. Her height reaches just under five feet and five inches, with a thin physique and an overall frail appearance. Her stature is almost boyish, especially around her hips and chest area, where she seems to still be waiting to grow, despite her age. Her ears are pierced once in each ear, usually with just a pair of plaid studs in them, and she also has her tongue pierced with a simple silver barbell stud.
Tatum's fashion sense could only be described as casual. She wears what she pulls off of the floor or out of her closet in the morning, and is an avid shopper from second-hand shops and thrift stores. If it looks cute, and she finds it comfy to wear, then she is likely to be found wearing it. A lot of tee shirts, hooded sweaters, and scarves. She also likes a lot of girly shirts with cute patterns, as well as skinny jeans and skirts, and bulky skating sneakers or slip-ons.
Play By: Quinn Cooper.
Personality: Tatum is a quiet girl when you first meet or approach her. She almost seems.. well, mysterious might be taking it too far, but there is definitely something amiss with her. Although she can be truly naive, she is also fairly intelligent. She certainly isn't at the very top of her class, but she wasn't far behind either, with a very nice grade point average [though pale in comparison to her younger sister], and is hoping to go into pre-med at one of Parkdale's universities once she graduates. Her brother was a bit lazier, but he is a whole other story. She wants to become a neonatal surgeon eventually. Lucky for her, she is quite far from dumb, and willing to work toward that goal. Her street smarts may sometimes lack, from a slightly sheltered upbringing, but she knows the way of things, and rarely allows people to fool her. At least not twice.
She is the type of girl who trusts with her whole self, and once crossed by a person, her trust for them will forever be damaged. This leads to a very open friendship with anyone whom deems her worthy of their approval. Tatum is also known for an almost obsessive type of love; throwing herself fully and hastily into romantic relationships, and finding herself unable to let go when things finish. On a one-on-one basis, she is calm and casual, and usually only speaks up aggressively when she sees it as being fully necessary to do so. Which isn't often at all. She's willing to stand up for others, especially underdog types, but it takes a lot to push her over the edge, since she doesn't have very much of a temperamental side. Tatum doesn't really socialize with too large of a group, but she can usually be seen around town, heading to school, to work, or to Ophelia's house. She speaks fluent English, naturally, and although she cannot personally speak it, she understands a fair bit of French because her younger sister and step-mother are both fluent in it.
The first thing that most people note about Tatum is probably how incredibly shy she is. Almost painfully so. Polite, quiet, and down to earth. When she doesn't know a person, or a situation, or area, then she can become withdrawn and awkward, and can usually be caught stammering or mumbling her speech. Nothing makes her more anxious than unfamiliarity, but it is something than she is learning to deal with as she grows older. Around the high school, she is quite able to stick with her twin brother and girlfriend as well as a group of closer friends, and just avoid situations she dislikes, but it has become harder to do that as they get older, and as university looms ever closer in their future. It's worse now, especially now that she works at the video store, where she must interact with people on a daily basis. It can also be especially frustrating with her sister nagging her to be social every other day. She and her sister get along pretty poorly most days, since Seraphim is every bit the out-spoken and brash individual that Tatum cannot bring herself to be, but when they need each other, they're more than a perfect example that blood is thicker than water.
Tatum tries not to let her shyness define her, as much as she can avoid it. Ophelia also helps her with this quite a bit, dragging her into social situations when she can manage. Once you get to know the girl, she is really quite friendly and helpful, and has an excellent sense of humor, and a decent sense of adventure. As rare as the side might be, viewed only by those closest to her, it is there. She is a true friend through and through, loyal and always ready to support and lend a hand to people who need her, even if she doesn't have a lot of confidence in herself and her own abilities.
Her lack of confidence is another of her flaws, since she really doesn't think much of herself. She considers her abilities with academics to be mere flukes, and her appearance is something that she is frequently embarrassed over; she hates her bright hair and freckles with a passion. She also is bothered by the fact of her less than feminine physique. She knows there isn't anything she can do about it, but it is still something she dwells upon at times.
Interests: Though medicine is her career plan, she is interested in things like photography, music [she collects vinyls], guitar, old films, and yoga. She almost always has a camera with her, ready to catch that perfect shot, she plays her [hand-me-down] acoustic guitar in her spare time, and she is always on the look out for a good deal on some older movies or vinyl records. She can usually be found blowing most of her biweekly paycheck on them, in fact. Some of her favorite music include bands like Radiohead, Sound Garden, the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, the Tragically Hip, Treble Charger, Lacuna Coil, the Smashing Pumpkins, Lisa Loeb, and Beck.
History: Tatum's upbringing was nothing short of ordinary. Just like the city it took place in. Nothing at all was deemed incredibly outstanding about the life that she lived with her friends and family in Parkdale. Her mother was originally born in Ireland, though she moved with her parents and three brothers to Parkdale at a young age. Her father was an only child who was born and raised in the city. They met while attending one of Parkdale's universities; Claire as a student, and Mick working as campus security. They were married just after Claire graduated. They decided to stay in Parkdale, although they had dreamed of traveling. It just seemed a nicer place to raise a family. The first [and only] set of children born to her parents, Tatum was a second-born fraternal twin, with a five-minute older brother named Rath. She also has a younger half sister, named Seraphim, who is two younger than herself and their brother.
Their mother became sick not long after their birth, with an illness that had been caught too late, and she passed away just months after the twins were born, and thus neither of them got to really know her all that well, outside of stories from their father, and photographs. Their father soon fell in love with another woman, another woman he had known during university, who originally came from France. She took well to the twins, in the absence of their mother, and never treated them as if they were anything short of her own. They were quickly married after the couple began courting, and just after a few months, Seraphim was born. All three children were raised by their father and [step] mother for the majority of their lives. Their father was a man who worked hard to support their family, as a police officer with the Parkdale police force, and thus didn't have much time to spend at home with his children, making his presence slightly absent. Their [step] mother was a woman who worked hard as well, working as a translator and business woman for the local pharmaceutical company, and spent just little time at home. They spent a lot of time learning things themselves, or teaching each other the ways of life, while passed through a series of babysitters until the twins were old enough to stay home alone with their sister.
Growing up, her brother was always one of her closest friends, and they were always there for each other, ready to support each other when need be. Perhaps it could be said that it was because of the 'bond' or 'connection' that twins are supposed to have, but Tatum would rather believe that they get along because her brother is generally a kind and likable individual. With her younger sister, the bond was not quite as thick, since she was so incredibly different from the twins in both appearance and personality. That was, of course, not to say that the twins did not love their sister, and vice versa, just that they easily recognized the differences between them, and Sera was quite ready to do the same.
Since there is only two years between them, the twins and Seraphim have had a very similar social circle. Through elementary, middle, and now senior high school, the twins and Seraphim both hung around with a very close circle of friends, including the Wainwrights, three other siblings who live not far from them. Their group varies in age, and members have come and gone, grown apart or moved away. They have stuck together through thick and thin, and through whatever might happen within their friendships, be it arguments, dating, or something equally as trivial, but oh so important to teenagers. It was through these friends, their little clique, that Tatum learned the meaning of friendship, and companionship, and she wouldn't trade any of them for the world.
Out of their friends, Tatum has been closest with Ophelia Wainwright, and when Ophelia asked her out in the tenth grade, she couldn't help but say 'yes', since she had been harboring quite a crush of her own for a number of years. She admires Ophi, and they balance each other brilliantly, with Ophelia's forward and brash nature making up for Tatum's quiet and awkward tendencies, and vice versa. What one isn't, the other is. Opposites very much attract in their relationship.
At school, Tatum is involved in just a couple of clubs. She founded the schools photography & music appreciation clubs with her brother, worked with the GLBT Alliance, and helped out with photos for the school newspaper, but other than that, she wasn't involved in any sports or other events, unlike most of her friends. She is slightly more focused on doing well in her classes, and getting out of the school for the day, to hang around their small town with her friends again. There was never anything very exciting for them to do, other than perhaps the occasional concert or movie, but they manage to have a good time regardless.
It when she began high school that Tatum actually decided that she wanted to go into work as a surgeon in her future. She is good at science, which also helps in her aid. Her mother was a registered nurse, for the short time that she worked after graduation before passing on, and it was partially in her mother's memory that she chose to go into the field of medicine, and helping other people. She hopes to specialize in neonatal surgery one day, once she is out of school and working in a good hospital.
As things stand, her day to day life in Parkdale consists of attending her classes, going to her job, and spending the remainder of her time with Ophelia and their friends.

About You|| Name: Amie. Age: Nineteen. Email: pyrateamie@gmail.com AIM/MSN/YIM: Boys ala Radio / pyratesss@hotmail.com / pyratesss
About Your Character|| Name: Seraphim Madeline Donnelly-Rousseau. Age: Sixteen. Gender: Female. Sexuality: Bisexual. Nationality: French-American. Birthday: December 7th, 1991.
Family: Rath Donnelly [older brother], Seraphim Donnelly-Rousseau [older sister], Mick Donnelly [father], Marilyn Donnelly-Rousseau [mother]. Pet(s): She does not have any of her own, other than a tank of fish in her bedroom. None of which are named. Other than Blinky. Whom was actually named by Rath. Occupation: None. Residence: Lives with her parents and siblings in a middle class home, not far from Parkdale Community School.
Grade: Ten [Sophomore]. Best Subject: Chemistry & Physics. Worst Subject: Spanish & Child Studies. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Student government [secretary], debate club, chess club, book club, honor roll, French club, interact club, knowledge bowl, national honor society, math tutoring club, politically aware students, yearbook club, female soccer team, academic decathlon, key club, and pretty much any other club that interests her at any given moment. She is always adding more things to her resume.
Appearance: Seraphim has hair which is a medium brown in color, and reaches just about the middle of her back in length. She usually keeps it straight, and down, and allows a bit of her longer bangs to hang near her face, framing it rather nicely. She pulls it back in order to study, usually with clips or into loose buns, but for the majority of the time, she just allows it to stay however she styles it after getting out of the shower in the morning. She doesn't seen the logical point in an incredible amount of vanity, unless she is purposely trying to impress someone, or going to an event which would require formal appearance.
Though her skin is light in color, it isn't near as poorly off as that of her sibling; much unlike Tatum, Seraphim can manage to hold a tan, and usually has a bit of one during the fall months, right after returning to school from summer vacation. Her complexion is devoid of freckles and blemishes, with rather smooth skin and high cheekbones. Yet still unlike her sister, she is willing to apply a bit of make-up in the mornings before class, usually in order to bring out some of her natural color, and keep herself from looking like a ghost.
Seraphim's eyes are rather unique, since she has heterochromia; or rather, two different color eyes. Her left is a bright blue, and her right is a dark brown color that is similar to that of her father and her older siblings. Her eyes are round, but her lashes are rather short, and she usually has to apply a bit of mascara in order to get them to stand out. Her face in a bit sharp in shape, and her lips are pretty thin, usually formed into a scowl or a pout. In height, she stands at five feet and three inches, with still a few years ahead of her to keep growing. Her physique is slender, and not quite as thin as her sister. She doesn't retain that same strong-wind-could-blow-me-over quality that Tatum has about her. Seraphim's weight is distributed nicely for her age, giving her a larger chest than her sister's, despite the age difference, and a decent pair of hips. She has no piercings, other than both of her ears, in which she usually wears a pair of silver hoop earrings.
Her fashion sense is very reserved. She takes time in choosing what she'll be wearing outside of uniform, and always thinks about presentation and what others might have to say about her choice in clothing. She is willing to laze about in a pair of jeans and a tee shirt around the house, but her choices in casual clothing usually leans more toward sweaters, slip on sneakers, skirts, and blouses with sweater vests. Yet even in her stuff choice of clothing, she manages to make it her own, and put an original spin onto it.
Play By: Ilze Bajare.
Personality: For the most part, Seraphim is a generally pleasant girl over all. Obedient and quick as well as willing to learn, she is the ideal student to have in the class room. She isn't very egotistical about her appearance and other trivial matters, although that doesn't manage to count for everything. She is well aware of her level of intelligence, greater than even some older students, and she is more than willing to show off and flaunt it. She considers herself serious, down-to-earth, and calm. And sane. She is a very social girl, and has no trouble in making friends, even if she does sometimes lack the time to spend with them, or she ends up starting a fight with them over her nasty boasting habits. When it comes to being caught in a bind, she is willing to put in the hard work to figure out a situation, and deduce the best way to deal with it. Some of her favorite activities include reading, studying, and debating. They rate about her top three in total.
With all of those close to her, Sera is loyal to a fault; once she is your friend, she will always have your back, and never back down from a challenge. She stands up for herself and her friends alike. Though she'll rarely be the one to apologize first in an argument. She's a bit too stubborn for that, and usually believes she's in the right in most fights. Even if she may not always be. And her bragging usually got her into the fight. Sometimes she can be a little thick, for such a bright girl. She believes the best of everyone in most cases and genuinely likes to think that everyone has a little bit of good and sanity in them, even if they haven't always proven it right away. That isn't to say that she is naive, or overly trusting. Just because she believes a person might be good, doesn't mean she's willing to put her neck out for them, until she's sure on it.
Seraphim is incredibly diligent to the rules of her school, and any other establishment. She believes that they are all there for good reasons, and that the various types of faculty wouldn't enforce them otherwise. Thus, they should be respected and followed at all times. She's gotten into trouble a few times, and has regretted in deeply, and tries to stay out of it, if she can help herself. Though once she's had a few drinks into her, what she does is out of her hands, mostly. She is a pathetically silly drunk. She has a strong sense of justice, and has no problem stepping up to right a wrong that she sees happening, even if she may not be directly involved. She has wanted to be a teacher or a lawyer since she began school, and has had quite a few hero-worshiping moments that bordered on crushes, when it came to teachers in her school years, or other people in places of authority. She sticks by what she considers to be right in the world, no matter what, and isn't quick to sway her opinion away from what she believes in.
She has a bit of a temper, but it takes quite a bit to make her truly snap. She can generally be a bit cranky and brooding, but not to the degree that she could be. She usually tends to keep it under control, unless someone genuinely crosses her; usually directly insulting her intelligence, her family, or a friend. Letting out her temper, though, usually ends in someone punched in the face and possibly some shouting and cursing on the side. It's best to keep Sera calm, if possible, since she can be quite a force to be reckoned with when she's angry or peeved.
Interests: Seraphim is interested in any and all things in the world of academia. Reading, writing, and arithmetic. She reads near constantly, and hardly has room to store all of the ones that she currently owns. One day hopes to have a proper library in her own home, where she can keep all of her beloved tomes. She is in a large number of clubs, and is very involved in each and every one of them, never missing a meeting. Sera has been dreaming of writing a novel, though she isn't sure what about, other than the fact that she would like it to be non-fiction. She also has a little-known fondness for music, something that she shares with her sister. She enjoys anything that catches her fancy, but especially easy listening, and female vocals, and will gush for hours about her favorite artists, given the chance. Some of her favorites include Janis Joplin, Vagiant, Heart, Paramore, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, the Vines, and Yael Naim. Secretly, she adores cartoons, though she'd be hard pressed to admit it.
History: Just like her sister, Seraphim experienced the same incredibly ordinary childhood. Raised in Parkdale by her parents, and with siblings, living a not-so exciting life. She was her mother's first child, and her father's third, born as the youngest into a blended family which the twins were already a part of. Her father was originally from Parkdale, and her mother was originally from France, though she had been in Parkdale for some time, attending university first and then working for the pharmaceutical company which held it's base of operations in the city. They had been friends in university, and met again shortly after the death of Mick's first wife. They hit it off easily, and were soon married, with Seraphim coming along soon after. It was through her mother that Seraphim gained her firm & fluent grasp on the French language, as well as her second last name. When she was born, it was the decision of her parents that she would be given both family names, in the hyphenated format, just as her mother received after marriage. And it has been as such ever since.
By the time that Sera was born, with her parents already married and the twins already two years old, the family was more or less established, and now complete. Both of her parents worked hard, and she spent a lot of time being raised by her siblings and a series of nannies and or babysitters, but her mother always found those extra few moments to spend doting on and playing with her youngest daughter, and this caused Seraphim to grow up a bit spoiled, and with a bit of arrogance for herself. Her mother never minced words when it came to complimenting Seraphim, and was almost always gushing about how intelligent she was for her age, and so it was only second nature to Seraphim that she should do the same for herself, to make the world aware. It has made her a bit of a snob in her now teenage years, but she doesn't seem to mind much. She knows that she is arrogant, and believes herself to possess every right to be arrogant. Elegant, and perfect, in her own eyes. As well as the eyes of her mother.
From the moment she was born, through her whole childhood, Seraphim was rather left out of the close bond that her older brother and sister shared; though they all got along quite well [at least until puberty], and did love each other, she never found herself able to fit into what the twins shared together, and it caused her to become a bit of a loner at times, who often depended upon her mother for the praise and attention that her siblings only provided to each other. She knew that she wasn't like her brother and sister, and didn't dare to intrude on what they shared, even if getting left alone on the playground did get quite tiring at times. When she began elementary school, two years after the twins had begun, Seraphim began to show her more social qualities, and began to make friends of her own, and branch out away from her brother and sister, quite gladly.
Even if they did establish a bit of a similar social circle as they got older, hanging around with the Wainwrights among others, Seraphim has always been able to make friends outside of them, and socialize will with a variety of different people. Her involvement in a large number of clubs helps her social standing, as well. She hopes that her large variety of social standing will some day make her a shoe in for the position of president in the student government at PCS.
Unlike her sister, Seraphim has never seen much need to dating, and thus has never really had a steady boyfriend, or girlfriend. She has been on a couple of dates, but nothing serious, and nothing that particularly lasted very long. She considers herself to be lacking the time, and the patience, though Tatum insists that it is only a matter of time, and finding the right person. Seraphim believes her sister is an idealistic fool on the subject of love, and stands by her own statement; too busy, too impatient, too important.
She'd rather be hanging around the library, or just reading at home.
In fact, she's incredibly excited for her SATs, when that day finally comes. Standardized testing falls into the realm of her interests.
When she finishes school, Seraphim is hoping that she can go into work as a lawyer. For many years, she wanted to work as a teacher, but in the last couple of months, has changed her mind and decided that being a lawyer seems more exciting and more fulfilling. It has fueled and intensified her love of debate, which could also be to blame for beginning the idea of lawyers for her at all. She is [or at least is close to] the top in her classes, with an excellent grade point average. She's always trying her hardest in her lessons, and never late to a test, or to hand in an assignment, whenever possible, and so she knows that she'll be able to achieve whatever she desires in the world of academics. She just needs to find the patience to make it through high school, before she can move onto university, and head into her real future.

About Your Character|| Name: Rath Curtis Donnelly. Age: Eighteen. Gender: Male. Sexuality: Open. Nationality: Irish-American. Birthday: March 15th, 1990.
Family: Tatum Donnelly [twin sister], Seraphim Donnelly-Rousseau [younger sister], Mick Donnelly [father], Claire Donnelly [mother; deceased], Marilyn Donnelly-Rousseau [step-mother]. Pet(s): He has female two geckos, named Zas & Emp. He also has male a iguana, who's getting quite large for his aquarium, named Valor. Occupation: Works part time in a computer repair shop, located inside of the mall. Residence: Lives with his parents and siblings in a middle class home, not far from Parkdale Community School.
Grade: Twelve [Senior] Best Subject: Computer Studies & Mathematics. Worst Subject: Geography & History. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Photography club, music appreciation club, computer club, gaming club, anime club, and a few other nerdy endeavors.
Appearance: In appearance, Rath very much resembles his twin. He has the same rusty colored hair, though his is a bit darker, and kept significantly shorter. His hair style is a bit shaggy, but nothing to an extreme, hanging just down to his jawline, and framing his face. He keeps saying he'll cut it soon, but it has yet to actually happen. It is straighter than his sister's, just falling where he lets it, and left that way. He occasionally musses it up, in an attempt at giving it an attractive wind-blown look, but he doesn't quite get it. Mostly his hair just looks messy.
He has a very fair complexion, and is prone to sunburns during the summer. His pale complexion, along with his red hair, come from the same Irish blood that he and his sister inherited from their mother. He has a decent bit of freckles, starting over his nose and cheeks, and over some other parts of his body, particularly his arms and shoulders, as well as his stomach and chest. He isn't very fond of them, thinking they look a bit strange standing out against his fairer skin, and usually doesn't wander around very often with his shirt off because of them.
Also like his twin, he has the same dark brown eyes, with long and dark lashes. He has a similarly narrow face, thin lips, and pointed nose, though his jawline is decidely much more masculine, and he over all has a slightly more manly look to his appearance, where Tatum's is more frail and feminine. He grows in a bit of [quite red] stubble around his jaw, chin, and sometimes upper lip, and usually lets it hang around for a few days before shaving it, though he has never grown it into a fully blown beard. Just a bit of stubble looks much better on him. He is only slightly taller than his sister, standing at just five feet and nine inches, with a similar small physique. He isn't quite as frail looking, with a decent bit of strength under his belt when he needs it, but he doesn't have the buff or masculine physique of some teenage boys. Compared to even some of his classmates, he's quite a slight young man, and looks as if probably a decent wind could blow him over. He has one tattoo, a celtic design which circles around his left bicep.
Rath's fashion sense of very much the fashion sense of most teenage males. He's willing to wear whatever he can get his hands on from his closet, and as long as it smells okay, he'll wear it more than once. His sisters and his step-mother do a lot of the picking out clothing for him. If he goes shopping at all, he usually shops with his twin sister, going to her second-hand shops and thrift stores, and buying whatever catches his [or her] eye. He's very much the type of wear a lot of loose fitting jeans, hooded sweaters, and tee shirts. Usually with some sort of inane saying on them, or a neat design. He prefers sneakers, thinking any other type of foot wear seems far too stuffy and uncomfortable for every day life. That isn't to say, however, that he doesn't clean up nicely; when the occasion calls for it, he can look quite dashing in a suit and proper attire.
Play By: Lou Taylor Pucci.
Personality: Generally quiet, and quite witty, Rath is a bit of a weird boy. He is very similar to her in many, many ways, but doesn't suffer the same crippling shyness, although he can be rather reserved when he doesn't know someone very well. He also doesn't have the same naive outlook that Tatum does, much more cautious about people, and his judgment of them. He is down to earth, and a bit serious, and even a bit strange sometimes. Unlike his siblings, Rath doesn't focus all of his attention onto his studies; he'd much rather be playing video games, to be frank. He achieves about average grades, just enough to slide by with minimum work and avoid getting yelled at by his parents, although he could do twice as good as he currently does if he actually sat down and took the time to apply himself to his work. He's very intelligent, and full of book smarts and useless knowledge. He just fails to apply it to anything productive. He isn't sure what he'd like to be once he'd older, though he supposes he could do something with computers, or some kind of work with his hands, like carpentry or automotive, both of which classes he excels decently at.
He isn't the most street smart individual, also like his sister, but it is mostly their upbringing that could be blamed for that. He is, however, much less trusting and has a fair bit more common sense. He's usually the one to look out for Tatum, and make sure that she isn't taken advantage of, or picked on. From the time they've been small, that has been the role that he's played in Tatum's life, and he would be lying if he said he didn't feel slightly off put by the fact that Ophelia's been handling most of the role for the last couple of years. He tries to spend as much time with her as he can, and make sure that she's doing well, even if it seems that she doesn't need him as much as she used to.
Once Rath makes friends, he is a very good friend to have on your side. Loyal and supportive, he doesn't abandon those he cares about. He's calm and friendly, incredibly easy going on most fronts, and doesn't have very much of a temper, unless someone is directly threatening his family or his friends. He is rather full of adventure, and silly ideas. He has an excellent [albeit slightly twisted] sense of humor, and is almost always cracking jokes, and this all goes very well with his relaxed and almost lazy personality type. Like Tatum, he's willing to stand up to others when a situation desperately calls for it, although he's mostly passive, and likes to avoid direct confrontation. Regardless, and it's something he's been doing for all of his life, for both of his sisters, and for any of his friends that need it. Once he's friends with someone, they're more or less stuck with him for life, and he'll always have their back, come what may. He doesn't socialize in a huge group, mostly sticking with his sisters, and with the friends that they've been hanging around with since childhood, though he isn't at all against the idea of making new friends. In fact, he's quite social once you get him to open up [just mention video games], and is willing to socialize fairly easily once he does. Another similar trait between himself and his sister, is the fact that he speaks fluent English, as well as understanding a fair bit of French, despite not actually being fluent in it.
Rath can sometimes be a little withdrawn and awkward, but he gets over it much faster and easier than Tatum does. Unfamiliar settings aren't exactly his favorite thing in the world, but he deals much better with them, and is willing to roll with the punches and deal with the problem. He tries to be polite to people he doesn't really know very well [and you can expect his politeness to be replaced by crude jokes once you're close to him], mostly because it was how he was raised to treat people. His father expected him to be a perfect gentleman, who looked out for his younger sisters, and that is the facade that he puts forward to most. Even if it's only half true; sisters he may protect, perfect gentleman he is not really so much. He can be quite sweet and charming if he tries, but he rarely does, unless it's someone that he's very interested in impressing or making smile. Around school, he can usually be found hanging around in the computer labs [probably skipping a class], or just hanging around with his friends. He works part time, which also takes up a lot of his hours, and manages to make him more social than he'd probably like to be.
Of all of the people in his life, he is the closest to his twin sister, more than their younger sister, and even more than any of their friends, or their parents. He feels slightly guilty, a little upset, that their bond seems to be weakening as they grow older, and thus inevitably grow apart, but he still views Tatum as his very best friend, and tells her just about everything. There isn't very much that he holds back from her, and she is more or less his confidante and other half. He isn't sure what he'd do without her, since he's never lived a day without her, and the idea of her going off to university and leaving him behind makes him worry furiously. Almost enough to make him study harder, so he can go with her for certain. Almost enough.
Interests: Rath shares quite a few interests with his sister, including things like music and photography, but his biggest hobbies lay in the land of all things nerdy. Video games, trading card games, table top roleplaying games, comic books, anime, action figures, and so much more. If it's geeky, then Rath is probably involved with it, or trying to get involved with it. About ninety percent of his time is spent on his laptop, playing games, and the rest of it either spent with his sister, or doing other dorky things. He doesn't care much what people think of this, just as long as he's enjoying himself. And he is. He has a lot of friends in the less popular cliques at school, and is in a lot of the less popular clubs that cater to his ideas of fun. He plays bass guitar, and some of his favorite bands include Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, the Pixies, the Hellacopters, Muse, the Rolling Stones, Rage Against the Machine, the Foo Fighters. He is also totally obsessed with zombies, and cheesy slasher horror flicks [usually from the 80s], for whatever reason.
History: Rath experienced the very same upbringing as his twin sister, and his younger sister. Plain and a little bit droll. Born and raised in the ever boring city of Parkdale, to Claire & Mick Donnelly, and born as the elder of the two twins, Rath didn't have very much time to know their mother before she had passed on. Not long after that, their father had re-married and soon their younger sister, Seraphim was brought into the family. Once this happened, their family was complete, and they fell into the regime that would define the rest of their childhood. With two very busy parents, Rath did a lot of the raising of his two sisters [along with a lot of babysitters and nannies], and from a very young age was charged with the duty of protecting them and looking out for them in any way that he could manage. It has something he has always done, and will probably always do, as it is more or less built into him as a second nature.
With a police officer for a father, Rath was taught the importance of protecting other people, and it's something that he believes is very honorable and noble. Even if he has never voiced this opinion out loud to anyone outside of Tatum, let alone voice it to their father, whom he quietly respects an incredible amount, despite the fact that the older man is usually on his back about his slack attitude toward school.
Rath grew up with Tatum from the moment they were born, as they were fraternal twins, and it is very accurate to say that they are each others best friends. They were constant companions, through every part of life, and were always there for each other no matter what the occasion. Some people say twins share a very special 'bond' or 'connection', and Rath believes this completely. If he were to lose his sister, he knows that he would be completely lost, and has no idea what he'd do on his own. Life without Tatum, to Rath, would be like a life without half of himself in it. He is also fairly close to his younger sister, but no where near to the degree of the closeness that he shares with Tatum; he recognizes this, and so does Seraphim, and neither of them seem to have a problem with it. They are content with the bond they share, even if it is a whole other entity than his love his Tatum. He would still do anything for her.
He shared the same social circle with both of his sisters, all through out their lives and their education. It was usually the girls who made the friends, and Rath simply trailed along with them. Through elementary, middle, and now senior high school, the twins and Seraphim both hung around with a very close circle of friends, including the Wainwrights, three other siblings who live not far from them. They have gained and lost friends, and even so, managed to stick together a group no matter what happened between all of them. Around these friends, Rath can truly be himself, and a lot less of the stoic and quiet person that his father expects him to be around people. He can relax and be himself, which is a nice change. Not to mention the fact that Ophelia will play roleplaying games with him, and no one really minds his nerdy rambling.
Unlike Tatum, Rath doesn't have anyone whom he is dating, or whom he is interested in dating. He has gone on dates with girls before, and supposes that he could have an interest in males, though it isn't something that he has currently explored. He'd just rather be playing dating sim games, instead of actually dating someone. Actual dating costs more, in the long run.
At school, Rath can usually be found asleep in class, or skipping, or possibly doodling in a notebook. He spends a fair bit of time in detention for all of the time that he skips out on. Rath is involved in a series of rather nerdy clubs, and can usually be found ditching his classes in order to laze around in one of their club rooms. He's particularly fond of the computer club, and the gaming club, both of which he is the president of. He also began the photography club and music appreciation clubs with Tatum, and regularly attends those as well. While his sisters are slightly more focused on doing well in their lessons, and getting out of the school for the day, Rath is more focused upon slacking as much as he can, so he can go home and log onto any number of online RPGs, rather than doing boring school work. There isn't much else to do around town, after all.
He has no idea what he wants to be once he graduates, though both of his sisters are pressuring him to figure it out. He just doesn't know yet, really, but he figures that he'll figure it out by the time that they actually finish school. Or so he hopes.
The idea of plotting the future bores him, mostly. His life consists of his sisters, his friends, and his video games. And he likes it that way.

About You|| Name: Brittani Age: 19 Email: brittanimacdonald@hotmail.com AIM/MSN/YIM: See above. MSN only haha.
About Your Character|| Name: Lucy Jane Hartigan Age: 16 Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Nationality: American born and raised, some Scottish ancestry. Birthday: March 26th, 1992.
Family: Two younger brothers, Chris and Toby, 13 and 14 years old. Pet(s): Three cats; Jude, Jack and Molly. Occupation: Lucy is chained to a desk at a call center three nights a week after school, and in the daytime every Saturday and Sunday. Residence: Lives at home with hers brothers, her mother, and her father.
Grade: 11. Best Subject: History Worst Subject: Math Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Drama club and newspaper. Her job doesn't leave her much time for anything else, or she'd never get to sleep!
Appearance: Lucy is 5'5" tall, an average weight (though she is uncomfortable about her womanly hips), has dark hair that is almost black, which she rarely does anything with. She's exceptionally pale and wears dark lipstick anyway. She has large grey eyes, which she will put lots of eyeliner on but that's all. She dresses very casually, generally in jeans, a faded tshirt, and a sweater thrown on top. She lives in her converse sneakers and has pairs in several different colours.
Play By: Kat Dennings, especially as Norah.
Personality: Lucy is outspoken and maybe even a little loud-mouthed. The last thing she would be called is shy, and her mouth often gets her in trouble. Because she never keeps anything in, she's generally very chilled out and you will rarely see her get angry. She doesn't raise her voice; sarcasm suits her just fine. She smiles and laughs often, and is very easily amused. Just don't spout bullshit around her - she WILL call you on it.
Interests: Aside from the dramatic arts, Lucy listens to music as often as most people breathe oxygen, and can be found wandering around with her iPod if she's alone. She'll listen to absolutely anything. She loves to go for walks, especially if it's raining. She watches movies whenever she has spare time or no plans for the evening, and knows a lot about the movie industry and various trivia on her favorite films. She'll smoke a joint whenever she has the chance, as well.
History: Lucy has the most basic upbringing one could imagine. Her parents have been married 20 years and are still together (and not fighting!), there's no trauma in her past, and they're doing fine financially, though they're far from rich. Lucy got into music at a young age after attacking her mother's record collection. She's always had a few friends, but also a few enemies for her take-no-bs and spare-no-feelings attitude. She's had two semi-serious relationships, but not since she was 15.

About You||
Name: Amie. Age: Nineteen. Email: pyrateamie@gmail.com AIM/MSN/YIM: Boys ala Radio / pyratesss@hotmail.com / pyratesss
About Your Character||
Name: Brody Shane Rogers. Age: Seventeen. Gender: Female. Sexuality: Bisexual, and possibly closer to pansexual. Nationality: American. Birthday: September 10th, 1991.
Family: Brett Rogers [older brother], Stanley Rogers [older brother], Joshua Rogers [older brother], February Rogers [older sister], Donna Rogers [older sister], Edgar Rogers [father], Faye Rogers [mother]. Pet(s): Two dogs that have been around almost as long as she has. They have a huskie & a dachshund, named Chata & Hassy respectively. Occupation: She works at the same call center as Lucy, usually similar hours, due to school. She also detests it. Residence: She lives in a rather large three story house near the edge of Parkdale, pretty far [much to her dismay] from downtown, school, or anything else remotely important. She lives with both her mother and father, as well as one of her older brothers and one of her older sisters. Her other two brothers and sister have long since moved out.
Grade: Eleven [Junior]. Best Subject: Music & Literature. Worst Subject: Biology & Chemistry. Any sort of science, really. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Drama club, music appreciation club, girls rugby team, newspaper club, culinary club, & video production club. Though she usually forgets to show up for half of the meetings/games.
Appearance: Brody's hair is a rather absurd strawberry blonde color, and quite long. Some days, it appears very red, and on other days, it looks more of a mellow blonde color. In the summer, it's known to look particularly reddish, and moreso a duller blonde in the winter months. It reaches past her shoulders in length, and is very wavy and unruly on most days. She allows herself to have bangs, which reach her eyebrows, and are usually brushed to one side. She doesn't do much for styling her hair, preferring to leave it hanging down [occasionally with some cute hair clips or something], although she will pull it back from her face into a ponytail or something, if she's playing a sport, or cooking, etcetc.
Her skin is a bit fair, a trait which runs in her family. She isn't exactly pasty, but she does usually look as if she could bode well with a bit more sun. Which is exactly what she goes for, when she can manage it. She lacks any real sort of beauty marks, with no freckles or anything of that sort on her face, just a plain complexion. She wears a bit of make-up, mostly just some foundation and a bit of eye make up to accent her lashes, but nothing over board. She isn't the best with applying make-up, and for years had to have one of her sister's do it for her, which is half of the reason for her apprehension to applying it. She's content with a mostly natural look, if she has any say in the matter.
Brody's eyes are hazel, and almond shaped, with long lashes. Her face is a bit round, much to her dismay, with pouty lips and a small rounded nose. Her cheekbones aren't near as prominent as she'd like them to be, and she finds her jaw to be a bit too square for her liking [though it's not near as bad as she'll complain about it being]. She stands around five feet and eight inches, and weighs around the average weight for a girl her age, with a bit of a lithe and athletic build from playing sports growing up, and even now in high school. She isn't built like some players, but she has a bit of a stature to her, and count stand her own in a fight. And has. Her hips aren't near as pronounced as they ought to be, and her chest is slightly flat, but she isn't complaining very much about it. She'd rather not garner too much attention anyway, unless it was for her talent, rather than her appearance. Her ears are pierced twice, as well as her right eyebrow. Brody also has a pair of glasses that she is supposed to wear, but she only puts them on when she absolutely has to [basically when she is reading or driving]. Most times, said glasses are stuffed into the bottom of her school bag, or left on the dashboard of her car.
In the area of fashion, Brody is a rather free spirit. She is spontaneous, and that is how she does her shopping. She likes a lot of brightly colored shirts [tee shirts, tank tops, sweaters, and whatever else], and usually wears them with a nice skirt, or with a pair of jeans that look as if they've seen better days. She believes that well worn in clothing are well loved, and thus better to wear. She's notorious for [against her mother's will] holding onto clothes for years, and even trying to squeeze her way into things that she has long since outgrown. She more or less lives for cheap slip-on sneakers. She loves hooded sweaters, and wearing short sleeves over long sleeves, and can usually be seen in one of the two once the weather allows for it. She also quite likes jewlery, whether it's classy & gorgeous, or plastic & tacky, and usually can be found wearing a series of necklaces, bracelets, and loads of rings on each finger.
Play By: Rebekah Higgs.
Personality: In short, Brody could be explained as spontaneous, quirky, and incredibly independent. She is a bit of a tomboy, but with a feminine twist onto it, in her own unique way. She doesn't have much of a shy bone in her body, and is more than willing to introduce herself to strangers, and make a new friend. She does decent in the majority of her classes, though she is far more interested in the arts rather than paying attention to the more boring academic subjects. She is totally shit at science, and will openly admit it to anyone who asks. She begged her parents to allow her to opt out of the classes, but since she needs them to graduate, there has been no such luck. She's got a wise head on her shoulders, always ready with a quick witty remark or a sarcastic comment, and is quite street smart. She has a lot more common sense, than she has of book smarts, but she doesn't mind a bit.
She has a near constant habit of referring to just about everyone [mostly her friends] as things such as 'hun', 'honey', 'sweetie', 'gorgeous', and so on. It's something she has gotten possibly from her mother, who does the same thing.
Brash and rather silly, with a good sense of humor, and a very go-lucky attitude. She is a genuinely trusting girl, who makes friends with ease, and is very relaxed about it. She doesn't have a problem with crowds, and rarely finds herself feeling awkward, and it allows herself to socialize in a large group of circles, hopping all over the place. She isn't big on the idea of pressure and responsbility, and is much more in love with the idea of slacking off until she lucks out and becomes famous. Which is half of why she hasn't decided on a future career just yet, despite urging from her parents and older siblings, as well as some friends. She's a bit skeptical about romance, and is more the type of person that would prefer a casual relationship, rather than pouring her whole heart into a serious relationship. Friends with benefits just sounds much more classy, and much more exciting.
She has a nasty temper, and can get annoyed easily, despite her relaxed and slack attitude. People who bully others, and who try to give her shit, get under her skin with ease, and she is very likely to flip out on them. Verbally and possibly physically, depending upon on badly they've pissed her off. She has no problem with aggression, and doesn't mince words. If you set off the temper, you'll be feeling the full force of it.
She is obsessed with the idea of fame, no matter how she achieves it, and thinks that life should be nothing short of an adventure. Hence why she is very bummed with the fact that she lives in a podunk town like Parkdale. Road trips might actually be her idea of romance. She can't wait to graduate, so that she can travel and visit more exciting parts of the world. Possibly in the back of some guy's van, she isn't sure yet. It really depends on if any of her friend's are willing to tag along to keep her in line.
One thing that Brody isn't lacking, is confidence. She believes highly in herself, and thought she is full of praise and support for her friends, she doesn't let herself go unloved for even a moment. She believes she deserves the best, and that one day she'll have it, after all of her years of hand-me-downs and small town bullshit that she has had to trudge through. Taking days off of class for a 'personal day' are just an average time with Brody.
Interests: She is in love with all things related to art. Brody cannot draw for the life of her, but it is about one of the few artistic things that she'll admit she sucks at. She is a very good actress [interested in both film and stage], and a rather talented writer, usually lending a hand in writing for the school productions. She also loves music, and is an excellent singer, as well as guitarist. She operates as a solo act, when performing. She believes that those will be her ticket to her future fame, since she devotes so much of herself into them, and gets such positive results. Right now, she might be playing little shows in a tiny town, but one day she'll make it big. She has a strange taste in music, listening to anything and everything that interests her, from 80s hair rock, to screamo, to folk tunes, and back again. Her all time favorite band is Pearl Jam. Also, Brody has a keen interest in the culinary arts, and figures that maybe she could be a chef one day, if nothing else. She makes a mean cheesecake.
History: By the time that Brody came along, the Rogers family was already too full for it. Edgar and Faye were high school sweethearts, and already had their oldest child on the way by the time that they graduated from twelfth grade. They both went on to university together after they were married, and both became engineers, although Edgar has spent many years planning to become famous for his music, a dream that his youngest daughter would one day inherit. Before long at all, the family was getting larger; they had three boys and two girls, when Faye became pregnant with their youngest child. They decided that six would be more than enough to handle, and were pleased when their doctor informed them that they'd be having another little boy join their family.
Unfortunately, that isn't exactly how it went.
Nine months later, along came their daughter. They had been expecting a son, and had already picked out the name [as well as clothing & nursery already painted in blue], but decided that since 'Brody' was unisex at best, that they would keep what they had chosen. And thus, Brody Shane Rogers was brought into their lives.
Growing up, Brody lived a very average life. Their family was huge, even in the extended branches; she had almost twice as many cousins as she did siblings. They made decent money from their parents jobs, and they lived in a very nice house, just a bit of a ways into the more scenic portion of Parkdale. She was a bit of tomboy growing up [possibly because the other girls were always picking on her about her name and the boys seemed much more exciting and welcoming], and always had the affection of her parents, as well as all five of her older siblings. There was always someone there for her, and it was a support that she enjoyed. Her oldest brother was almost close to graduating by the time she was even born, but there was only three years between herself and one of her older sisters, and so there was always a variety of much older siblings, and siblings closer to her age as well.
She wasn't closer to any one sibling more so than any other, preferring to play with children outside of her home, and make friends on her own. Which she did with relative ease, from elementary school right up into high school. She hasn't particularly ever had one very 'best' friend, deciding that being fluid and flexible is much better than sticking all of your eggs into a single basket, although she is pretty good friends with Lucy Hartigan, whom she met in junior high school, and whom she attends PCS with and works with as well.
At school, Brody is a bit of a slacker, but involved in quite a few artsy clubs. From drama to music, she is involved in anything she can get her hands on. Anything for a chance to gain some attention for her mad skills. And she even tries to remember to attend all of them, even if she might forget to actually do so sometimes. She is also a part of the rugby team, as she has a little known fondness for contact sports, and rough-housing. Something that comes from years of having three older brothers to mess around with.
She cannot wait to graduate, leave her crappy job, and leave Parkdale, so that she can achieve the greatest dream of all; fame, fortune, and glory.
It's all a matter of time.

Family: Mother and Step-father Pet(s): Massinishi "Massi" -- cat Occupation: Part time at the library as a glorified book-stacker/organizer. Residence: He lives "with" his mother and father, who are often away on business in a comfortable home with three bedrooms and two baths. One room his parents share, one is his, and the last has been altered into a veritable library/study room which he inhabits more often than he does his own room -- to the point that he often sleeps in the large overstuffed leather chair that he firmly declared as his.
Grade: Junior Best Subject: English, History Worst Subject: Chemistry Clubs/Extra-Curricular:
Appearance: Adrian has short, dark red hair, he's very pale, and burns ridiculously easily as a result. Despite that, he has almost no freckles, except a smattering he earned when he was younger. Adrian has terrible vision, and tends to wear contacts, but has no objections to glasses. He does, in fact, have a nervous-habit of trying to push them up the bridge of his nose, even when he's not wearing them. He's incredibly skinny, mostly due to an unfortunate tendency to miss meals while absorbed reading. Adrian's wardrobe tends to consist of jeans and slightly-oversized jewel-toned sweaters (mostly sapphires and emeralds) and long-sleeved button-up shirts that he generally wears as a rule, because he's usually cold. He has a small scar on his right cheek -- he doesn't remember how it occurred, as it happened when he was very young -- he considers it part of his own personal charm.
Play By: Gaspard Ulliel
Personality: Adrian is a word-nerd. Seriously. He adores books, and has a small fascination with psychology that he regularly feeds. He practically lives in the public library, and has managed to schmooze his way into the affections of the staff as a whole. If he's not at the library, he's at the cafe, eating scones and drinking mochas, with his nose buried in a book. Adrian is a bit of a flirt, and has a serious obsession with boys with long hair, but he means well enough. Once involved in a relationship, he's fairly traditional if a little bit territorial where other guys are concerned -- that's usually expressed in a playful manner, especially among mutual friends.
Adrian isn't shy, but he usually didn't strike up conversation with strangers unless there was some mitigating circumstances. He considered himself comfortable with silence, and was never without something to read so being on his own wasn't ever an uncomfortable experience. Slightly random, and maybe a little more flirtations than strictly necessary with people of either gender, Adrian is fiercely dedicated to his friends and family.
Adrian's a fanatic student, and works very hard to keep his grade point average high. He knows his parents could easily afford to send him to college, but he's determined to get a scholarship and afford it on his own.
Interests: Reading, writing, mochas, scones, and oh, was reading mentioned? Psychology, boys with long hair, and flirting all take up significant spots in his time-spent. Adrian is also quite interested in cooking, although he focuses most on baking. His personal specialties are cookies. Adrian doesn't watch much television, but he loves music, dancing, and movies. Adrian is in love with Christian Bale, but American Psycho - Christian Bale, or even Newsies-Bale (and, okay, a little Batman-Bale, but who isn't?).
History: Adrian's father, Jeremy Scott, died when he was extremely young--young enough that he never really knew to miss him. And his mother met Harold Bridgers when Adrian was young enough to assume that the man was his father until he was around six, and realized that the Haitian Harold couldn't be biologically related to him. Harold had immediately taken to Adrian as his own, and they got along splendidly. While his parents weren't ecstatic over his homosexuality when they discovered it, they did accept it after a while. Afterward, while somehow remaining supportive, they were a lot more distant and involved in their work. None of that ever really upset Adrian, as he knew his parents loved him, and that was good enough for him.

About You|| Name: Amanda White Age: 22 Email: ahw0510@ecu.edu AIM/MSN/YIM: AIM: aisuiki MSN: honey_dewdrop@hotmail.com
About Your Character|| Name: Leigh Jacklyn O'Conner Age: 16 Gender: Female Sexuality: Bisexual Nationality: Distantly French & Scottish Birthday: 02/22/92
Family: Leigh has one older brother named Michael who is off and away at college, with either plans to save the world or destroy it. She also has two younger siblings, ages three and six months, named Steven and Bethany, respectively. Her parents are still passionately in love and are very family-oriented individuals. Leigh's mother, Bella O'Conner is a housewife, and her father (Andrew) is a moderately successful businessman in the wild world of advertising.
Pet(s): Taffy, a golden retriever, and Pix, a chow chow-rottweiler mix.
Occupation: Part time barista at the Seneca Cafe.
Residence: Leigh lives at a corner house far from the school with a vitally-important backyard host to a variety of activities for the family, and two doghouses (both dogs, of course, sleep in the same one).
Grade: Tenth. Best Subject: Social Studies and History Worst Subject: Geography Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Newspaper, Yearbook, Girl's Soccer, Track
Appearance: Leigh has long curly blonde hair, which she usually wears down around her shoulders, or up in a ponytail if it's getting in her way, and blue-gray eyes. She falls on the tall side of the spectrum and is relatively slim and tends towards athleticism. Leigh leans more towards tanning than burning, and is usually tan throughout most of the year from frequent outdoor activity.
Play By: Emilie de Ravin
Personality: Leigh's primary passion and interest in life is journalism, and hopes to be a great reporter once she graduates college. She's highly interested in what's going on in the world around her, and what's gone on in the world before, hence her fanatically good scores in History and Social Studies at school.
Leigh is generally independent, never really one to ask permission for feeling however she chooses to, and never seeking any sort of personal validation from her peers. She realizes her interests aren't always of the norm, and she'd never deny that she wakes up early Saturday mornings to watch cartoons with Stevie, and she'd probably do it, even without his company.
Given that most of her family are very physically active (and Michael's near obsession with soccer, hockey, and baseball), she's far more prone to athleticism when she's given the choice. Not to say that she doesn't enjoy an occasional day inside scouring old history books or newspapers, but for the most part, she would rather save those occasions for rainy days (when she's stuck inside anyway, and might as well find something interesting to do there).
Leigh is the sort to make friends fairly easily, and greet even those she barely knows. She has also got a fantastic memories for names and faces, so even people that might have been pointed out to her once she can usually recall. She firmly believes that one can never know enough people, or get along with them well enough. She believes that everyone has a story, and that everyone can learn vitally important lessons from the people around them. She asks a lot of questions, although she knows that it can be fairly irritating.
Leigh is a painfully curious individual at times, and if there's some kind of rumor or secret going around, she will want to know what it is. She does her best never to invade the personal space or business of those around her, but in her pursuit of the truth, occasionally, she does push too hard. She does her absolute best to back off when it's brought to her attention that she's doing so.
Leigh is, like her parents, quite family involved, and adores her younger siblings, and respects and admires Michael, as well. She spends more time at home playing around with her family than do many people her age, and realizes that it's slightly odd behavior. Leigh especially gets along well with her father, and tries her best to emulate his optimistic and vivacious personality.
Leigh is having a love affair with her notebook and case, one given to her when she was twelve by a famous news reporter that her father had taken her to meet. She brings it everywhere and writes in it constantly, and is most likely on her fourth or fifth notebook of random facts that she keeps neatly cataloged in her bedroom. Interests: Leigh's greatest focus is, as aforementioned, Journalism, including Journalistic history and column-writing, but she's is also interested in soccer, learning to play the Mandolin (a feat she has been practicing for years, though primarily in her own bedroom), knitting, and spending lots of time with her siblings.
History: Leigh's mother and father were both born in Parkdale, met in high school, and returned there after they had gone to college (Andrew for business and advertisement, and Bella, who had always loved children, for teaching kindergarden). They're fiercely dedicated to each other and their children. Leigh was blessed with a loving and supportive family, and fully recognizes how lucky she is for that. Although any of Leigh's friend who make their way over run the improbably high risk of being "adopted" by her parents as well, being fed, asked about school, and mothered and fathered as much or little as they like. Bella is an amazing cook, and tends to shower anyone who walks through her door with refreshments and questions and as much well-meaning as one could ever ask for.
Leigh had wanted to be a reporter ever since she had been very little, and used to follow Michael around and write "reports" on things he had done (both good and bad) and turn them into her father for "publishing". The first-lost-tooth article about herself was still in her journal, and whenever she feels pleasantly nostalgic or alternately as though she'll never succeed with her journalistic dreams, she looks back on her start, and somehow always feels as though success is within her grasp.

Birthday: November 16th, 1991. Family: Marianne Peters (sister, aged 15), Curtis Peters (brother, aged 9), Sandra Peters (mother), Jared Peters (father). Pet(s): Golden retriever named Popsicle, orange tabby cat named Fudge. Occupation: Funemployed, currently looking. Residence: Jackson lives in half a (large and quite nice) duplex with his mother, sister and brother. His dad lives in a small house on the other side of Parkdale, and he sometimes visits on weekends. Grade: 11. Best Subject: Math and biology. Worst Subject: History and English. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Music Appreciation, Film and video, yearbook, and boy's soccer. Appearance: Jackson, or simply Jack, is about 5'8" tall, and quite thin, though he is in good shape from playing soccer and running. He has short, feathery hair that alternately looks either dark blonde or light brown, depending on the light he's in. He has a fair complection that holds a tan well in the summer months, and grey eyes. Jack wears jeans almost every single day of his life, and alternately sweaters or polos. He dresses in brand names, generally, such as American Eagle or Abercrombie and Fitch, and lives for his Adidas sneakers. Play By: Hunter Parrish, because I sometimes watch Weeds just to stare Personality: Jackson Peters is a preppy boy, for certain, but has a heart of gold. He doesn't have a bad word to say against anyone, and can often be found trying to encourage people to talk things out. He's an excellent student (albeit a bit shaky when it comes to English or any social studies course), a bit of a jock, and a good friend. He's quick to crack a joke, and tries his hardest to see the best in people. He stresses quite a bit over school, and the only time his pleasant demeanor seems to vanish is when he preforms poorly on a test or assignment. Interests: Aside from school and soccer, Jackson is very interested in the film industry, and would love to try his hand at direction, or possibly cinematography when he's older. Despite his preppy-boy appearance and lifestyle, he can often be found checking out shows at the Seneca Falls cafe, though he tries not to attract any attention, since he doesn't exactly fit in with the crowd. He more or less haunts the Title Screen, seeing anything and everything. He doesn't smoke or do drugs, but will get drunk at the occasional party. History: Though divorced, Sandra and Jared Peters get along beautifully, thus making the split very easy on their three children. Jackson grew up living with both his parents till he was 11, when they split. He and his younger sister, Marianne, used to spend a lot of time outdoors, at the park or just in their yard, playing in leaves and building treehouses. He and his Marianne, though very different, get along very well and he's very protective of her. Their younger brother, Curtis, is a bit of a brat, and he'd rather not have to deal with him.

About You|| Name: Amie. Age: Nineteen. Email: pyrateamie@gmail.com AIM/MSN/YIM: Boys ala Radio / pyratesss@hotmail.com / pyratesss
About Your Character|| Name: Jessica Hunter Sommer. [Goes by Hunter.] Age: Twenty-one. Gender: Female. Sexuality: Bisexual. Nationality: American. Birthday: February 20th, 1987.
Family: Elizabeth Sommer [younger sister], Benjamin Sommer [older brother; deceased], David Sommer [father], Michelle Sommer [mother]. Pet(s): She is the quite proud owner of a female golden lab, named Isabella. Who is about as old time itself, and whom Hunter is convincing herself isn't doomed to pass on soon, as long as she keeps hoping and praying. Occupation: Currently unemployed, since she was fired from her last job. She doesn't have any job ventures other than driving the band van for Random Comment. Which is not a paying job. It is also a THANKLESS job. Residence: She had been living in the dormitories at Parkdale university for the last year, but recently moved back into her parents house for this semester of school. Which is literally right next door to the Wainwright house.
Grade: Graduated from PCS, currently a second year student at Parkdale university. Best Subject: Economics. Worst Subject: English. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: -- N/A
Appearance: Hunter's hair rather thick, is a golden blonde color, and is usually hanging into her face. In length, it is to just to her shoulders. It is rather straight, but only because she keeps it that way; if she doesn't apply a daily straightening charm, it ends up rather frizzy and wavey. Outside of her little spell, she is more or less a shower & go type of girl, never one to fuss over her appearance very much. She almost never has her hair up, preferring to let it be left down, hanging around her face and her shoulders.
Her skin is far from pale. It is rather well toned, holding a nice tan through out most of the year. She usually gains a good tan through the summer months, and manages to keep it through out the year with all of the time that she spends outdoors. She doesn't believe much in make-up, unless it's a special occasion, or she has something that she's trying to cover up. Usually black eyes more than blemishes, given her personality type. Her skin is smooth though, and well taken care of, and has a very nice glow to it on her better days.
Hunter's eyes are a vibrant blue in color, and usually wide and filled with a look of mischief or feigned innocence. Her face is slender, with full lips and somewhat rosy cheeks, and usually a very wide and friendly grin plastered onto said lips. She is done her growing, and she is very tall for a woman; Hunter's height tops off at just six feet and one inch. She's got a lithe and athletic build, from playing sports through school among other sports and physical activity, but she still has a lanky look about her, with thin limbs in general, and with long legs, long arms, long fingers, long in general. She has very decent curves, rather soft, and she is very well endowed as well, with a nice pair of hips that got well with her chest. She has no piercings, though she does have a decent sized tattoo on the small of her back, which she [quite proudly] refers to as her 'tramp stamp'.
Her sense of fashion seems to be heading in every direction, and rather skewed in the opinion of what is 'appropriate' for the general public. If it's comfortable, and she thinks she looks good in it, Hunter is willing to give it a try and wear it. Even if it might not exactly be modest. Lots of lowrise jeans, tee shirts, tank tops, and whatever else she feels will look good on her. Even a blouse with a few buttons undone could look nice! She isn't really the type to flaunt her appearance or her assets, but she also isn't the type of be ashamed, or to try to hide them. And so if an outfit is a bit revealing.. well, it's not her problem. It just happened that way, and she's going to keep on trucking.
Play By: Blake Lively.
Personality: Over all, Hunter is a very likable person, and it's this personality that has made her quite a few friends around Parkdale, and made her a fairly popular student in both high school and now university. She is loyal to her friends, and friendly to just about everybody, and so she makes said friends easily. Outgoing, kind, and a bit goofy, Hunter is always the first one in a group that is willing to be social and cheerful to just about anybody that she encounters, whether it's a close pal or just a stranger she runs into in the corridors. Unless someone really crosses her, or does something to give her a bad opinion of them, she is a really great girl. She is the type that can be ones best friend, or their worst enemy, depending on how you treat her and her closest friends.
She can be a bit of a trouble maker, but is excellent at covering up her tracks, or managing to talk her way out of situations. She has a natural charm to her, and can be quite suave when she needs to be. She likes to always be active, and always on the go, and is always willing to get physical, whether it's in a real sport or any other sort of physical competition that someone has come up with to pass the time. She's got a near insatiable amount of energy on the average day, being incredibly active and hyper, and it can lead her to trouble, with anything from pranks to fist fights. Which she spent nearly her entire high school career getting into them constantly. It took her quite some time to outgrow the mentality of using her fists to do the talking, when someone upset her or picked on one of her friends, but now that she is graduated, and nearly a full fledged adult, she has learned to try and handle things like said adult.
When the situation calls for it, she can take on responsibility, though she prefers not to. She'd rather be laughing, having fun, and showing off her crude sense of humor. She can be a calm girl, with excellent leadership skills and a knack for advice and guidance that comes natural to her. She is protective of those she cares about, particularly her friends and the younger students in her house, and will do anything to protect them and take care of them. She dedicates her life to the people she wants to look after, and will go to any length to achieve what needs to be done.
She has a bit of a party girl like personality, and it can get out of hand at times, though she at least tries to keep it in check. She manages, sometimes. Or at least manages to hide it from the proper faculty in question. Most nights, she can be found using her available means to sneak off somewhere she shouldn't be, whether it's downtown, the mall, or maybe even the cafe. It's usually somewhere she knows she can stir up fun though. She can be a bit of a tease, even to those close to her, but it's almost always in good fun, since she really isn't the arrogant type, for the most part. Unless she's been drinking [and she usually has]. At times, she tries to put up a bit of a tough front for others, to try and appear as tough as she is reliable, but under it all, Hunter is most definitely a soft girl.
Interests: In short, liquor. Hunter's top three favorite things are drinking, partying, and drinking. She is the resident party girl, summed up by Brody Rogers as; "One of those people, you know, that everybody knows? She graduated like, three years ago, and she still hangs around the high school, with the high school kids, and goes to our dances, and throws parties and shit, even though she's like, in university. But she throws a good party." Really, she can almost always be found with a drink in hand, or offering one to someone else, and she has a tendency to show up [and throw up] at just about any party or get together within city limits. She is always looking for a good time, and good times usually equate to drinking, which has gotten her a bit of a reputation around the city, not to mention made her into the resident drunk of her group of friends. She has even had her driver's license suspended, more than once, for alcohol related mishaps, though she has never actually hurt herself or anyone else yet. If it isn't fun, Hunter doesn't want to do it, and will avoid it at all costs, to go and goof off and drink instead.
History: Born in America, in the deep South, Hunter's family consisted of her mother & father, herself, an older brother, and a younger sister. Her birth name is technically 'Jessica', while 'Hunter' is her middle name, but it was her brother who began calling her 'Hunter' during their childhood, and she has gone by the name ever since, hardly even acknowledging being addressed as Jessica. The Sommers lived a rather luxurious life in America. They were never short upon money, always had what they wanted upon their beck and call, and lived in quite an extravagant old Victorian style home for the majority of Hunter's childhood. She was the middle child, and never at all what her parents expected out of her. Since her mother already had her son by the time Hunter was born, she was really expecting [and hoping for] a girly sort of girl as a daughter, which wasn't exactly what she got. While other girls were having tea parties and playing dolls, Hunter was skinning her knees, climbing trees and chasing the brother that was three years her senior. All of this much to her parents dismay. They were expecting their daughter to be their perfect debutante, attending parties in her best dresses, and socializing with the young men she would someday choose her husband from.
Yet as she grew older, Hunter never grew apart from her brother. He was easily the number one person in her life, and her best friend for certain, despite all the other friends the siblings had around their neighborhood, and as the siblings aged, her mother and father only seemed more and more disappointed in Hunter's ways, trying at every chance they could to bring some feminine qualities out of their daughter. With expectations the parents had built for their daughter, there was almost always tension in the home, and Hunter was naturally inclined for argument and rebellion against what they wanted of her. Sometimes, she wondered why she hadn't just been born a boy, so that she could run and play with her brother without being hassled and pressured by her parents all of the time. When her younger sister was born, when Hunter was seven, it did ease some of the tension in the family. Said younger sister, Elizabeth, would one day grow up into the perfect spoiled daughter that the Sommers had been hoping for, even if no one quite realized it when she was born.
Life was about average until Hunter was about eight years old. It would seem that through many years of tax evasion and other shady investments, the Sommers family fortune was beginning to dry up. Within months, the family was bordering on the very edge of bankrupt, and their entire established lifestyle was coming down with it. Hunter and Benjamin adjusted well to common life, but their parents were not to fond of the idea, nor were the fond of the idea of raising their youngest daughter into anything short of the extravagance they were used to. While her father was focusing on getting them back onto their feet, tragedy struck the Sommer family, when Benjamin was struck by a car and killed on his way home from school. Hunter was close to nine at the time, Benjamin was twelve.
Hunter was understandably devastated, and seemed to sink into herself and stray away from both her parents and friends alike. She spent a majority of her time staying introverted and brooding on Benjamin for at least the rest of the year, until the family moved to Parkdale. The family had moved from their old home, just after the accident, when their parents had decided that there were simply too many memories to stay living in that town, especially in their old home. They had family in Parkdale, on her mother's side, and had stayed with them for a few months before getting back onto their feet, and finding a home of their own. Right next to the Wainwright family, with whom Hunter hit it off with immediately. The family's daughter, Ophelia, was nearly three years younger than Hunter, and the two were still quick pals, along with Ophelia's brothers, and some other children from around the neighborhood. Hunter quickly found herself fitting in, and it eased her mind, stopping her from brooding so much about the past. Already, her strange choice in friendships was just another thing her parents saw as 'all wrong' about their Jessica, not that Hunter particuarly seemed to care.
Starting school with her new friends that year, she was quite thrilled, and before long, Hunter came out of her introversion. She was quickly back to her normal self, once she began making friends and looking on the brighter side of matters, becoming closer to being the girl she grew up as along side her brother. And since puberty, she has even developed a bit of the strong feminine twist that her mother had wanted her to have so bad growing up. She rarely talks to anyone about her past, and very few (if anyone at school) know about her brother. As far as most people know, outside of her closer friends, she has always been in Parkdale, a constant fixture of life as the citizen's know it.
Of course, that was all years ago now, ancient history. Hunter isn't at all the girl she was as a child, having spent many years in Parkdale now, growing up alongside Ophelia and their other friends, and turning easily into the fun loving party girl that she is these days. Always ready with a witty remark, a smile, and a drink, Hunter is quite the different person. Being three years older than most of her friends, if not more, she graduated long before they did; she decided to stay in Parkdale once she did, and attend one of the city's universities. She lived in the dorms for her first year, but decided she didn't like the restrictions and rules, and has since moved back in with her parents for this year of school. Though that working relationship hasn't gone so well, since they never did quite get along very well, and Hunter's coming and going at all hours of the night [not to mention her throwing of parties] do not exactly tickle them pink.
Currently, she is attending her university classes on and off, looking for an apartment [and roommates], and getting her party on when time allows.

About You|| Name: Brittani Age: 19 Email: brittanimacdonald@hotmail.com AIM/MSN/YIM: ^
About Your Character|| Name: Marianne Peters. It was going to be Mary Anne Peters, but her parents thought that was too plain, so they combined the names, and now she has no middle! Age: Fifteen. Gender: Female. Sexuality: Heterosexual. Nationality: Canadian/American Birthday: January 5th, 1993.
Family: Jackson Peters (brother, aged 17), Curtis Peters (brother, aged 9), Jared and Sandra Peters. Pet(s): Golden retriever named Popsicle, orange tabby cat named Fudge. Occupation: None, she'll start looking as soon as she turns sixteen, though! Residence: Marianne lives in one-half of a very large and nice duplex, with her mother, and two brothers. Her father lives in a nice apartment on the other side of town.
Grade: 10 (sophomore) Best Subject: Art, band, French and Latin. Worst Subject: Anything remotely science-y or math-y. Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Band, book club, French club, photography, drama club.
Appearance: Marianne couldn't possibly look more different than her older brother, Jackson. She has flaming-red hair, which is very wavy and long, which she will sometimes straighten (but only if she's going somewhere special). Her skin is pale, but unlike her brother's, holds no colour over the summer, burns or otherwise. She has green eyes that look like they may be trying to be brown on some days, and she often wears glasses with very thin rims to correct her near-sightedness.
Marianne is only an inch shorter than her brother, at 5'7" tall, and is equally as thin, seemingly unable to gain weight, despite having more than a healthy appetite. Having a real hate-on for pants, Mare can often be seen in skirts; be they short, plaid, and pleated, or long and flowing. Known for being a bit of a hippy, she lives for her Birkenstock sandals (which her brother lovingly refers to as Jesus Christ Getaway Boots), even in the winter (when, despite it being the worst of all faux-pas, she will wear them with socks).
Marianne's wardrobe consists of many bright colours, and she is fond of both pretty button-downs and cardigans, as well as witty-sloganed tshirts. Were someone to label her, they'd be hard pressed to distinguish between "Bohemian" or "scene", which Marianne doesn't mind at all.
Play By: Stacey Farber *swoons*
Personality: Like her older brother, Marianne is extremely good-natured and easy-going, and a bit of a peer mediator. Never in her life has she fought witrh anyone, save for her little brother Curtis. Though likeable and quite nice, Marianne's never had any really close friends, finding herself too absorbed in books or art. She's constantly planning new projects, and often looks a little dazed as she's in thought.
Marianne attempts to see the best in everyone, and usually succeeds. You could put the lowliest creature in front of her, and the first thing she'd notice would be its redeeming qualities, even if it seemed to have none.
Mare, like many of the students at Parkdale, is very involved in the arts, and feels most at home when playing her clarinet at band practices and recitals.
Interests: Marianne is an artist - she can paint, draw, sculpt - you name it. She's never been one for sports. She plays clarinet in the school band, which is probably when she's happiest. Mare is also involved in every play and production the school puts on, feeling very at home on the stage. Her fascination with music is rooted deeply in her love for The Beatles (in fact, she may or may not be stalking Lucy Hartigan - one of her younger brothers has informed Marianne that the girl was named after Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds). Most of her paintings and sketches are based on her interpretations of Beatle's songs, be they representant of the lyrics themselves, or just the theme Marianne can feel.
A strict vegetarian, Marianne feels very connected to nature and the outdoors. Though Jackson has apparently outgrown such activities, every summer without fail Mare constructs a new treehouse or cabin, and plays in the leaves every autumn. She would never wear fur or leather, not even the synthetic kind, and when she turns sixteen she would like to get a job at the Parkdale Animal Shelter, to look after the abandoned dogs and cats, and find them homes.
Marianne doesn't drink, smoke, or experiment with drugs, though she currently isn't sure if this is because she wants to be straight-edge, or if she just feels too young to partake in said activites. The next few years are certain to be rough on her, dealing with peer pressure and decisions.
History: Marianne's parents divored when she was nine years old, but always treated each other with respect and remained friends, which is perhaps why Marianne and Jackson survived the ordeal so well-mannered and well-adjusted. Three-year-old Curtis, however, was the most affected by the split and is currently quite the 9-year-old brat. As a child, much like today, Marianne spent as much time as humanly possible outside, climbing, building, playing, imagining. The only thing that was different then was that her brother, Jackson, had joined her then.
Though they no longer play together, and are completely different from their activities to their strengths and weaknesses in school, Jackson and Marianne are still best friends, and Jackson is very protective of his little sister. This may be part of the reason she's never had a boyfriend; if there's one thing to break the good-nature and even-temper of Jackson Peters, it's someone looking at his sister!

About Your Character|| Name: Samson Brighton Age: 17 Gender: Male Sexuality: Open for discussion, although he's obsessed with molesting Jude? Nationality: Jamacian - American Birthday: June 15, 1991
Family: Sarah Brighton (elder sister), Jacob Brighton (elder brother), Riley Brighton (elder brother), Steven Brighton (elder brother), Melissa Brighton (Mother), Elijah Brighton (father) Pet(s): Skippy (pet ferret) Occupation: Musician Residence: The Brighton residence is directly beside the Wainwright residence, though a bit bigger to accommodated the larger family.
Grade: 11 Best Subject: English Worst Subject:History Clubs/Extra-Curricular: Table Top Players
Appearance: Samson is the only white resident of the Brighton household, aside from his father. He is nearing six foot three in height, towering over most of his friends. He had blonde hair and blue eyes, and is what his sister fondly refers to as 'lanky'. Play By: John Robinson Personality: Samson is perky and bright, though he occassionally acts a complete idiot. Having a 'big black momma' (in retrospect, Melissa is petite and Samson can easily pick her up) has taught him that there is a lot of prejudice in the world, and that he shoould never judge someone before he knows them (although this often does not apply to people who pick on or dislike his bffl Jude.) Interests: Samson plays drums as if it's the only profession he'll ever need. He also enjoys playing table top games; and spending any time he can urging Jude to play outside in the woods (though Jude is still petrified of the woods from the time Samson made him watch a few horror movies involving them...)
History: The Brighton family is one of those familys that's always been in Parkdale. Elijah and Melissa met in high school, and despite the race difference between them, fell in love and married straight out of high school. Steven was the first son to be born; with Riley and Jacob following soon after, then Sarah and finally Samson, the baby of the group. All of the children are within a few years apart; the largest gap being between Samson and Sarah at four years. The Brighton family is one full of love and compassion; a reason why the children get away with so many parties, despite Sarah's unwant for them.
