"You really should, it's fantastic," Sera suggested, with a little smile, leaning in to lightly kiss the blonde as she pulled a face. "Not that I'm encouraging you to break your ethics, but it won't kill you. As a French person, sex and wine are like.. our national pass time, and I'd be terrible if I didn't encourage others to enjoy them."

"Well, it's not so much ethics as taste buds," Leigh replied, smiling as she pulled away from the kiss. "And if I had any ethics at this point, I'm pretty sure you already killed them. I've just never really drank any alcohol that I've enjoyed the taste of. Oh, except for some cider grandma had once, but I don't know what was in it, or how she made it. I should call her and ask about it, if she'd even remember."

"Acquired taste," Seraphim informed her, with a curt nod. "Once you do it enough, you learn to enjoy it. Just like coffee, or certain types of food, you need to give it a chance to grow on you. I hated wine the first time I tried it, I spit it everywhere, but now I don't mind it. Mostly, it's hard liquor I can't stomach. Just the thought of rum makes me gag," she explained, leaning forward a bit, resting her chin onto Leigh's shoulder. "And I think we've discussed that, A) I kill everyone's ethics outside of the ethic need to study, and B) your grandmother is madly epic, and I'm pretty sure she probably has some super powered memory, she'll totally recall. Although calling her in the middle of the night, from some party, because you want to drink with your girlfriend, might be unwise."

"True, she'll probably want to come out here, and I refused to hold out this party for her," Leigh replied, grinning. "I'll call her tomorrow. And well, let's go attempt to get me liquored up. We'll fail, but at least you'll have the comfort of watching me make funny faces."

"I dunno, I wouldn't mind partying with your grandma. We've had some pretty wild Christmases, thanks to her," Sera replied coyly, grinning back at the other girl. She pulled back from their embrace, and stepped away from the wall, heading into the living room again, and leading Leigh closely along with her. Most of the liquor was in the kitchen, and as they ducked between people still dancing to Random Comment, she glanced back at her girlfriend. "You, personally, don't even strike me as the wine type. Although you'd look most elegant and sexy, holding the glass. We'll make you some shots, they're quick, and just a bit painful. Cute faces will be funny and cute."
However, as they actually reached the kitchen, Seraphim stopped just in the doorway when she noticed the scene waiting for them. Her brother, apparently, hadn't escaped out of any windows. He and Tatum both, were apparently trying [and failing] to console Hunter. Who was sitting on the edge of the counter beside the fridge, drinking a can of beer in between crying. It looked like she'd been at it for a while, and neither twin seemed to know what exactly to do.
"... Well then well."

"Take pictures," Leigh advised. "I'm pretty sure I won't be giggling over the faces until later. And when I do, I want visual aids."
As they walked into the kitchen, Leigh quickly came to the same understanding as Sera, and to the understanding that neither Rath nor Tatum would have taken direct charge over the situation, and instead allowing Hunter to bawl pointlessly, wanting to help but unsure how. "Hey, hey," she said consolingly, immediately taking charge and assuming her hey-talk-to-me-I-can-help voice, kissed Sera's knuckles, before dropping the brunette's hand and then moving to wrap an arm around the sobbing-Hunter's shoulders. "What's wrong, honey?"

When Leigh dropped her hand, and moved over toward the sobbing blonde giantess seated upon the counter, Sera gave a little sigh, and headed over toward the fridge. She pulled it open, grabbing a couple of bottles from inside of it, and heading to the nearby kitchen table with them. She got some plastic cups from there, pouring the drinks into them, and occasionally glancing over her shoulder toward Leigh. Both her brother and sister seemed relieved that someone else had come along to deal with the situation; it showed on their faces.
"Some friends you guys are," the brunette chided, as she finished pouring herself her wine, and moved to mix something she thought Leigh might like.
Hunter's crying didn't cease any, although she dropped her now empty beer can onto the kitchen floor, before leaning into the one armed embrace that Leigh had around her. "S-Sarah's mad at me," the older girl managed, in between tears and the occasional hiccup, as she gave the other blonde a drunken [but serious] look. "She's g-going to break u-up with me, I j-just know it!"

Leigh confidently stroked Hunter's hair in a comforting gesture. "Oh, no, Sarah loves you, honey. She's not going to break up with you, not over a silly little party. I promise." She gave Tatum a serious look, and mouthed "please get Sarah" at her. "We'll just get all this sorted out, okay?"

"Uh, Leigh, you might not want to promise that, Sarah was pretty pis--" Rath began, shutting up and letting out a small 'oof', as Tatum elbowed him from the side.
She wasn't sure Sarah would actually come when she asked, since Rath was mostly right, but Tatum gave the younger girl a little nod, and headed back toward the living room just the same. Luckily, Random Comment was just finishing up a song, and the redhead moved over toward where Ophelia and Sarah were standing, stepping between the two. "Uhm, Sarah, can you.. w-well, just come here? For one second? Before the next song?"
Coming over to the counter with the drinks in hand, Seraphim easily hopped up, and sat beside Hunter. She had been comfortably holding three, and placed one down for Leigh, held one for herself, and offered the third to the blonde. Her own wordless form of comfort, and the type she knew Hunter liked best of all.
Hunter continued leaning onto Leigh, as she accepted the drink from Seraphim, and gave a little bit of sniffling, before she took a drink. Chugging half of the glass in one go, before starting to cry again. "H-How do you know? She t-t-totally hates my guts! She's mad at me! She w-wouldn't even m-make me a sandwich!"

Leigh glared at Rath at his half-sentence. Now was not the time to say things like that in front of Hunter. Tatum seemed to do quite a job of shutting him up, which was a blessing. Sera's drink (Leigh couldn't quite dare to take a drink yet) seemed to be helping, somehow, and Leigh gently tucked a lock of hair behind Hunter's ear.
"The willingness to make a sandwich of those around us is not a measurement of love," Leigh noted. "Now, why don't you tell me why Sarah's mad at you? And then we can fix it, because you love Sarah, right? You don't want her mad at you, do you?"
She knew she sounded as though she was talking to a child, but given how drunk Hunter was, it wasn't going to be hugely off.

"I do love her," Hunter groaned, half way to a whine, as she sniffled again, and chugged down the rest of her drink; letting the plastic cup fall to the floor, beside the empty beer can she had dropped earlier. "I h-hate it when she's mad, I didn't mean to make her mad, I just wanted her to have a party! I love parties!"
This was immediately followed by a fresh welling up of tears in her eyes, as she bunched one fist, and quickly wiped at her watering eyes with it. "S-She's mad at me, because of the party, because she.. w-well, she said not to have a party. Cause it's her parents house. But I didn't think s-she'd mind, it was a party just for her!" the blonde explained sullenly, starting to cry a little again.
Unsure what else to do or pitch in, Rath offered up his half finished beer, which she took, and began nursing slowly. It slowed the tears, at least.

"I dunno, Hunter. It sounds like you wanted the party more for Hunter than for Sarah," Leigh said chidingly, but didn't move from her "comforting position". "Why doesn't Sarah want a party in her parents house?"

"... Cause we always m-make a mess? And break stuff? And I throw up in the bathtub?" Hunter replied softly, giving a little whimper. She quite like a guilty little girl as she said it, looking at Leigh through her eyelashes, and giving her a rather pathetic looking frown. "I think that might be why, anyway.. I dunno, it was for her, though! Cause we're moving out! And Samson didn't say no!"

"Well, how about we make a deal," Leigh said soothingly, and finally dared a sip of the drink Sera offered her. She wrinkled her nose. Not terrible, really, or anywhere near as bad as she feared, but definitely not delicious. She took a second, far more tentative sip. "How about you don't throw up in the bathtub, and you make sure that Sarah doesn't have to do the cleaning up, okay? That'll cheer her up. And Samson should definitely be in the clean-up party," she added. "Since he should definitely know better."

Hunter seemed to consider the offer for a long moment, before nodding slowly, looking just as sullen as ever. "Well, okay.. but if I can't use the bathtub, then I think she should move," the blonde explained slowly.
Once she realized that Hunter was talking about her, Sera's eyes went momentarily wide, before she hopped off of the counter top, just in time for Hunter to lean over and vomit into the kitchen sink that she had been sitting next two.
"Oh my god, I can't handle this. Where the hell is Sarah?"
