Leigh grinned, easily. She carefully dropped Sera's legs, allowing the brunette to find her feet just inside the bathroom, with her feet still firmly planted on the plush hallway carpet, and she dropped a kiss on Sera's nose. "You are adorably sexy, and I'm pretty sure that's unfair," the blonde noted. "I'm gonna go do our laundry while you get all squeaky, because I am a good girl. And stuff."

Sera had to grin at that, just barely holding back a bit of laughter. "Yes, you're such a good girl. You made me skip my afternoon lessons, and brought me home to seduce me. You're just the spitting image of goodness and wholesomeness, trust me," the brunette replied, smiling at the kiss onto the end of her nose. "Anyway, go. Clean the clothes, I'll be out in ten."

Leigh made a face. "Hey, you seduced me first!" And she pertly turned to grab some clothes to leave Sera and to dress herself in. Cleaning the house nude was probably not the best idea if her Mom happened to get home in the near future.

"I did no such thing, sir!" Sera called after her, smirking slowly, as she closed the bathroom door. Walking over to the shower, as familiar as her own at home, she turned the faucets to the proper temperature, before climbing under the water and closing the curtain behind her. She had practically lived at Leigh's house since kindergarten, and showering there was no big; she found the shampoo, soaps, and conditioner with ease. Within her allotted ten minutes, she had finished up completely.
Climbing out, water off, she reached over and picked up one of the nearby towels, wrapping it around her wet hair, and grabbing another to towel off her body.

Leigh, in the meantime, had left a small, neat pile of clothes just outside the bathroom door for Sera, and half-dressed under a robe, knowing she wanted a shower herself before getting properly dressed. She had thrown duvet-cover and their discarded clothing into the washing machine, clearly measured the soap, turned it on, and started the espresso machine to start a mocha for Sera. It only needed a final touch, which she did neatly and with great ease. She carried the mocha to the coffee table in front of the couch, along with a warm chocolate croissant. Sera, unlike herself, showered quickly, and she knew the brunette would be downstairs in a matter of minutes from that point. She'd settle her girlfriend down (and, in fact, left a half-read book on the table as well, one Sera had accidentally forgotten there her last visit) and then shower herself.

Seraphim found the clothes outside of the door, smiling fondly as she picked them up, and ducked back into the bathroom with them. She dressed quickly, and found the blow-dryer from under the sink, quickly dying off her hair in just a few moments, before running her hands through it to complete the ever-sexy windblown effect. Stepping out of the bathroom, the brunette inhaled deeply, the scent of mocha already wafting up the stairs toward her, making her smile even wider.
"Is that my famous Monstrosity that I smell? Or at least a homemade attempt?" Sera called, as she descended the stairs, seeing Leigh in the living room at the bottom. "And even a book, look at that. Talk about service, huh?"

"Just a regular mocha, I'm afraid," Leigh answered, watching Sera descend. "I'm scared to attempt the Monstrosity without all the ingredients. So...mocha. And you left the book here. And chocolate croissant. You know how long I can take in the shower, I'd hate to see you leave of boredom before I can get out," she teased, and approached the bottom of the stairs as Sera descended. "Enjoy," she added, and kissed Sera's cheek before flouncing upstairs.

"Very nice," Seraphim replied quietly, grinning slowly as Leigh placed the light kiss onto her cheek. "I'll be here, don't worry," she added, as she walked down the last few stairs, and moved into the living room. She slopped comfortably onto the couch, propping her head up with one arm, as she reached over and picked up her mocha, taking a long sip. Delightful and warm, and she savored it for just a moment, before moving onto the croissant, finding that she felt rather famished. They had skipped lunch, and in favor of a rather strenuous activity; other than the handful of peppermints, she hadn't had anything.
Finishing it up in just a few bites, she moved back to the mocha, only sipping, as she flipped her book open to her previous point, and began to read, waiting for Leigh to return to her.

Leigh, after dropping into her room to pick up some of her clothes, hopped into the shower, stepping into the steaming water and standing there for long minutes before dipping her head into the water and finally beginning to wash her hair.
It was nearly forty minutes before she stepped out, wrapping herself into a fluffy towel. She quickly dried and stepped into a pair of black pajama pants and a green tank top graced with a strawberry dropped in the middle. She threw her hair into a towel-turban before heading back downstairs, where true-to-word, Sera was sitting on the couch still, reading. She sat next to Sera, leaning onto her side. "I love showers," she noted pleasantly. "Might I mention I'm the happiest henchlady in the world at this moment, sir?"

"I know you love showers, you take epicly long ones," Seraphim replied, without lifting her eyes from the book, simply gently flipping to her next page. She shifted some as the blonde leaned onto her, getting them more comfortable on the couch. "And I can see why you'd be happy, I know that I'm happy. We'll be happy together, no?"

"Epicly long showers have an epicly clean Leigh, and I like being clean. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy," she pulled her feet underneath her. "Mom and the kids'll be home in a few minutes. You gonna stay for dinner? You're welcome to stay the night if you don't think Tatum and Rath would mind. I don't think your parents are even there, and I doubt they'd care if they were. And we should be happy. Happiness is a good and wonderful thing."

"I'd love to stay for dinner. Once your mom sets eyes on me, I won't get a choice anyway, you know how she is. And if she's as thrilled about.. us, as you seem to think, I have a feeling I'm going to get double the coddling from her," the brunette replied, smirking. "Also, I was under the impression that I was staying the night. Something you said earlier, about snuggling under that duvet, and talking all night? Although, not actually all night, I hope. Since that would mean I'd be dead tomorrow during class. But happy, dead and happy."

"Well, if you gotta be dead," Leigh replied, and jumped a little when she heard barking and the key in the door. "Yup, she's totally gonna smother you," Leigh said warningly, leaping lightly to her feet and running to the door, and opening it before her mom had the chance.
"Taffy and Pix incoming!" She warned, as both dogs scrambled headlong into the house. "Hey mom!" She greeted, kissing her blonde mother on the cheek and accepting Stevie from the woman, as she pushed in the stroller holding Bethany. Promptly, both of them began stripping Stevie and Bethany of outer clothing. Once free, three-year-old Stevie ran to the couch giving Sera a welcoming hug before running to his toys.
Bethany was gently picked up by Leigh once free of her clothing, and adjusted comfortably on her hip. "Sera's here," Leigh noted, unnecessarily.
"For dinner, of course," Bella replied. "Hello dear," she greeted the brunette on the couch.

At the mention of incoming dogs, Seraphim immediately sat up from her position on the couch, closing the book and settling it into her lap. She reached for the mocha, taking hold of the mug, to make sure that nothing got broken, and or spilled, in the entering of the rest of the family. She smiled a bit as she watched Leigh and her mother interact, and returned the hug to Stevie, before he was off again, and she returned to holding her mocha, taking a small drink from it.
"Hi mum," Sera said casually, lifting her free hand in a little wave. "What's for dinner, anyway? Something good I hope?"

Bella offered a faux-offended look. "As if any of my food is anything less than? Well, then, darling, what would you like?" She stepped away from Leigh (who was cooing a little at Bethany, who was giggling gleefully) and towards the couch and dropping a kiss on the top of Sera's head. "I was thinking some baked flounder tonight, with the rosemary and lemon? Probably some skinned potatoes and either asparagus or green beans, if that suits. And chicken nuggets for the kids," she noted as Stevie screwed up his face unhappily across the room. At the note of chicken nuggets he cheered and threw an army guy at a small pile of similar things.
"I'll help," Leigh noted from where she was delivering a raspberry onto Bethany's stomach. The girl shrieked in laughter. "I have something I need to tell you anyway."
